I’m using your video to install this on my Bronco. Why did you have to tap into the RedArc harness under the dash with the blue wire? Your videos are really good. I learn allot. Thanks.

@@jonyossarian4803 Thanks! We had to run the blue wire because this one didn't have the tow package from the factory. If it would have had the tow package, then there would be a factory harness with that wire already ran to the back.

This is awesome, thank you! I am getting ready to do my same install. My question, I assume you disconnected the battery? I have read so much about yes with loose wire connections and no with connectors, I just assume disconnecting the battery is a best practice. Thanks again!

Yes, disconnect the battery or pull the fuse when wiring. I'm glad this video helped!

Did you have to splice into the TPH-007 blue wire because the vehicle did not come with a tow package and/or a 4 and 7 pin connector?

CAUTION!!! DOES NOT FIT AS THEY SHOW Slick edit @9:39 where you connect the cable to the switch then cut away and don't show that the cable interferes with the panel support! Wish you had been honest and showed that. Then I would have probably mounted in the center console as originally planned. The only way to make this work is going to be to cut out part of the panel support.

What are you talking about? Pull the panel support off and mount it on the backside like I show. No special edits, you just have to look how everything mounts and you can move it to where it doesn't interfere.
