The Kia is still technically in the same class as the RAV4 even though it’s a little bigger. The Highlander is definitely bigger since it’s a midsize 3 row and not a compact 3 row like the Kia. Also, I would trust Toyota’s hybrids way more than Hyundai/Kia hybrid systems because Toyota is more proven. Also the Kia has a turbo which won’t last as long as a non turbo hybrid like the Toyota

Toyota is definitely not what it used to be! The new tundra engines are blowing up! They can only run on their reliability history for so long. The new Toyotas have NOT been reliable. Time to get a modern Kia with the latest tech. Kias are just as reliable as Toyota nowadays. No need to buy an outdated and ugly Toyota.

Agreed. Does not match Sorento to RAV4.

It’s not the Kia that entered the market years ago so it’s a fair comparison in terms of equipment and pricing.

​@XX-166 exactly u would say it has more features, more tech at a lower price. Toyota is falling behind. They are just surviving by their name that it is reliable other than that they are way behind in terms of features and tech. As a toyota owner I am saying this. The new corolla cross is useless. I went to see the non hybrid version it's second row is cramped for 4 people and it's overpriced for its segment.

@@XX-166 if you want to compared equipment and pricing then compare it to a hyundai. Kia is nowhere closed to a Rav4 or any Toyota not the interior not the build definitely not the engine even if a Kia is $5000 lower then the rav4 im sure people that know about car will still take a rav4 over any Kia you might think you have a deal cause is $5000 lesser but you will spend most of the time in a mechanic shop then driving it.

@@AlexAlex-gs1xh alot of people that buy cars don’t care about the tech and you said Toyota falling behind 100% its not to a Kia good lord are you serious remember we are just comparing Toyota to a Kia and for the Corolla crossover why would you look at that if theres a Rav4 thats better and if you want more room grab the highlander or a 4runner is a 4runner thats have no technology but still one of the best selling suv and last you for a very long time
