Cool build , also definitely look into the uintah precision bolt action uppers for ar15 lowers , I think they do a .224 valkyrie

Looks interesting, but I'm not sure I'd want the "interface" between upper and lower for a bolt gun! Thanks for passing along...

Do you have any input in using the bravo and the mags but I have a Remington 700 22-250 I want to use

Do you have to use a true AICS mag or can it be “AICS pattern” such as the Accurate mag?

Hey Gavin, I don't shoot that caliber but will want to see the comparison of the bolt to the AR in accuracy. It would have taken me a lot more tries to get that right than you did :-)

This initially for us dealing with 224 Valkyrie Bolt rifles was a real issue. The first and still a and cheaper good solution out there is by Buck Holly at C&H Precision in GA and it is a modded 223 MDT[holds 8] mag as you can either buy them directly from him or he will mod your mag if you send it in and its a bit cheaper route.[tell him I sent ya] www.chpws.com/product-category/rifle-parts/mag-extensions

Since the 224 uses 6.8 SPC AR15 mags, can you get this chassis for those magazines?

Not sure if it will work with this chassis, but, it WILL work with any stock inletted for a Rem 700 BDL bottom metal!! I have one on its way to me for a 6.5 Grendel Bolt gun I’m building on a 700 with one of the PTG bolts for the 6.5G/PPC cartridges. pacifictoolandgauge.com/remington-700-detachable-mag-bottom-metal-dbm/9404-remington-sa-700-detachable-mag-bottom-metal-for-ar-15-223556-mag-stealth.html
