Somehow this has taken me to Marilyn manson so I think maybe the grannies need to see baby manson & a good way to do that is in the nine inch nails song "gave up" which was recorded at the Sharon Tate house. My brain works in strange ways

White Zombie was one of my favorite bands back in the day, lol!! His bass player, the ravishingly gorgeous Sean Yseult, was a beast on the bass, doing helicopter twirls with her yellow hair, lol!! Yup, she kicked major ass!! Woohoo!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The bass player's name is Sean Yseult. I believe they started the band back in the 80's and were dating up until the time that their last album, Astro Creep 2000 was released. Their relationship soured and eventually broke up and Rob disbanded White Zombie in favor of starting his own solo band.

Fun story about this album. My best friend wanted to buy this right after it came out, so 1994 or something. Being in a small town, Walmart was the only close place to buy music. We were looking for this album and couldn’t find it, so he asked the young man working in electronics that day where it was. The worker, totally serious, says we don’t sell devil music here. Granted the album title that this track is on is Devil Music Vol 1 but still it was hilarious to both of us. We left laughing hard. We went to a bigger town to find it that day, I bought a copy too and wore the tape out. Yes, cassette tape. Black Sunshine is another good track off this album too, to check out.

I got to see Rob Zombie live a couple years ago while he was touring with Marilyn Manson. "The Twins of Evil!" It was a great show

My second concert ever was Coal Chamber opening up for these guys, and Manson was supposed to headline. Keeping in mind that this was 1997... The more fervant religious right in my area protested it and the show was cancelled. After a venue change and TWO reschedualings, Manson had started the Japanese leg of the tour and couldn't make the date. I didnt get a chance to see Manson again til 2001. However...Coal Chamber and White Zombie absolutely tore the house down and I had bruises for weeks thanks to a knarly stage dive!!!

I was born 4 days before Rob Zombie in 1965 and this song helps me stay young at heart. Also my late friend was the drummer for White Zombie.

I met Rob Zombie and his current band and they are the nicest people ever🤘! He's incredibly short though 😂. He's a very good guy. Vegan, grows most of his own food and is a huge animal advocate. He's been with his wife for years. He's pretty much a horror genius. His parents were carnies. He is a very interesting person and his story is long. He puts on an amazing live show!! His guitarist John 5 is also amazing if you've never checked him out you should. He used to play for Manson, until he abused him. Grannies, please check out I Prevail!! Either Gasoline, Bow Down, Breaking Down, or Come and Get it. Also, check out Avatar's new album Hunter Gatherer. A Secret Door is a very unique song. Corey Taylor from Slipknot whistles in it. He also is in the song Colossus. Love y'all! Keep it up!!

La Sexorcisto was is my FAVORITE White Zombie album, which Thunder Kiss 65 was released on. Little fun fact kids, “yeah” was a song lyric used like 111 times over the course of the album.

Just love your all's reactions to the videos and music! You truly love the music you are listening to! Love it! So proud to be apart of the #GrannySquad! Did you know that Rob’s parents worked in a carnival and he would occasionally get to scare people going through haunted houses and haunted rides. However, his parents quit their jobs after a riot broke out one night. People were pulling out guns, beating each other up night and lighting tents on fire??? I read this on an article about him. Like fun facts to know about him. This is a sad fact,but fun to know

Oh another thing about Rob Zombie is that when he started this band when he was 18 Rob was working as a crew members on the Pee-Wee play house tv show then when he would leave work he would go and join up with the other members of White Zombie to play music after work.

Strange fact: Rob Zombie has been with the same woman for almost 30 years now? She stars in all of his movies. There's a lot of 1920s and 1960-70s imagery throughout this video. Like the girl dancing is supposed to be like modern flapper dressed as a hippie.

Saw White Zombie in 94/95 at Brixton Academy. As soon as they hit the stage the whole crowd became a mosh! It was fuckin' amazing! Sorry for the expletive " Grannies "

Hey grannies just back with another recommendation, so hopefully you wonderful gals see it. The band is called The Anchor and the song is called "The Hardest Part". This band is a female fronted metalcore band from the great state of Colorado. And though they are still quite unknown, they did get a feature in the video game soundtrack for "Doom Eternal" which is a pretty big honor. Im going through a real hard time in my life and music like this and great videos from you guys are nice rays of light during this difficult time of mine. The song is heavy both musically and lyrically. Hope you guys see this and have a blessed day.

The band split up in the late 90’s after the 1997 remix album SuperSexy Swinging Sounds which was reimagined versions of the songs from the Astro Creep 2000 album. They only made 2 full lengths and the remix but they were epic. Rob went Solo in 2000 with Hellbilly Deluxe

At this point we probably will never have White Zombie reunion from interviews I've seen which is a shame. Rob finally performed some of the WZ songs during his last tour. Met most of the band over the years and had a couple beers with Robs brother Mike aka Spider One of Powerman 5000. All of which were hoping Rob would come around and revisit the past. Window is small hoping for the best. Keep rockin 🤘
