3 NEW Steps for Back Pain Relief!

Warning ‼️ this is not your typical back pain relief stretching video! Here are three steps with a different approach to taking care of your spine:
1. Practice gentle extension and avoid flexion for a period of time until your body starts to acclimate and feel comfortable slightly extended. (** if you have back pain during this, discontinue or only move in the range of motion that you’re pain-free.)
2. Instead of stretching the glutes, contract them!
3. Instead of stretching the hamstrings, contract them!
I love this program because it can be done sitting in a chair, which we do too often in our modern world often contributing to the reason WHY we have so much dang back pain! You can do this on a plane or at your desk. 🪑

Awesome Erin! I have been experiencing some back pain lately (and also shooting pain down the legs...not sure why). Admittedly I have been disconnected from your channel for a while but then this morning I was like....Erin will have some answers! Awesome! Thank you for your comment. I feel like there is so much repetition out there to help back pain which usually includes hamstring stretches, cat/camel, and knee to chest. However, if everyone is stretching to help then why is there so much back pain still?!?

@@DailyFascia Hah! Well let me answer from the perspective of someone that has always been well informed in terms of what to do and how to do it, and yet I continue to live with back pain. For me it's always been a problem with consistency. I do the right things not nearly often enough, that and I haven't been getting enough sleep for most of the past twenty years. Every one's going to have their own challenges, but methinks in the age of information overload, the information itself is only the first item on a list of requirements to implement habits and achieve lasting change.
