Great video demonstrating the practical every (snow) day use of these things. I just got stuck in the snow yesterday and may have been able to get myself out if I had a shovel and a pair of traction boards. Also it seems to help when you have a second pair of hands to rock the car onto the boards!

You can do a self recovery in this truck by pushing yourself out with the wheel lift. Been there done that

Yeah, they are really helpful for $60. And you don't even have to endanger your vehicle to help someone out! 😁

I know, haha. The tow truck operator asked me what they are called. He said that he was going to get some. They are the prefect solution for snow because they are easy to clean. I’ve used them in mud, but what a mess. No wonder people attach them to the outside of the vehicle, haha
