30 Minute Pyramid Walking Workout, Low Impact, 2500 Steps

This 30 minute walking workout will improve your cardiovascular system, balance, and endurance. You will engage your entire body with six fun exercises that will rack up about 2500 steps, more or less depending on your pace.
Here’s the format. It’s a “Plus and Minus” pyramid-style workout: There are six exercises added one at a time in six rounds and then subtracted one at a time in five rounds. Round one consists of Exercise 1: Round 2 consists of Exercise 1 and Exercise 2…and so on until you reach Round 6 that includes all six exercises. Next, we subtract an exercise with each round so that the last round consists only of Exercise 6. Join us and follow along - we’ll keep moving and have fun along the way!
Here are the six exercises:

✅ Side step/arm throw
✅ Toe taps/boxing circles
✅ Side step/goal post arm
✅ 3-step/knee up
✅ Up and reach

This is one of the routines I was unable to comment on. I've done it a few times and realized I hadn't put in my 2 cents. The structure of this "pyramid" was so very imaginative and upped the challenge with each addition and provided a reward with each subtraction. I imagined the elbows move one a hero would do knocking out bad guys advancing each flank, and the goal post move deflecting those meanies. What fun! I did rest in between due to unplanned interruptions. Please create another, perhaps a bit shorter. I timed the routine, excising the opening talk and cool down: it was 32 minutes long. What a sport Mom was! Always grateful...Anastasia

Nice variation on the pyramid workout! It goes by super fast when you are only doing each exercise for 20 seconds. I love that "rock 'em, sock 'em robots " move with the elbow and side punch, lol! I missed Mochi, though...but I had a great time working out with you awesome ladies, as always!

I am finally able to get back into a workout routine after my wrist injury and feeling sick. It feels good to do this but at my own pace for now and not a whole 30 minute yet. Doing little by little. I love your workouts as it is easy and gentle to do. Thank you ladies.

Really enjoyed this one ,it gave me 25 zone points ! Then I went mad and did the tabata hiit one afterwards so 43 zone points all together ,and it's only 8.30 in the morning here in the UK! By time I've mowed the grass I'll of done all my steps for the day ,thank You to both of you ,I now only do your exercises you make them fun ❤😊x

Loved this! I am glad you don't have music in your videos (or do I hear some faintly in the background?) b/c I use a metronome to your aerobics videos exercising anywhere between 130 and 145 bpm.

April 21, 2024: This "new to me" workout started out gentle, but I was good and dewy by the middle of it, and it definitely got my heart rate up. You didn't identify this one as a HIIT workout, but it felt like one to me. I like the 20-second rounds and the variety of moves. I kept everything low-impact, but I ramped up the goalpost arm move beginning in the second round by using both arms at once, which is always a challenging strength move for me, even without weights. I have a question about your rug. In this video, you show yourself taping the rug down along a fringed edge, and you often remind us to tape down loose rugs in many of your videos, but I haven't been able to see the tape on the edges in other videos. Do you have some other kind of system, like adhesive underneath maybe, that usually keeps your rug stable? I usually exercise on wall-to-wall carpeting, but I'm curios about that.
