My first time solo camping and testing the new for 2024 Vango Force Ten Nexus UL2 tent.
Looking forward to making this a regular choice for both of us or a spacious solo option. Should be ideal for UK and European conditions but the limited head height and shallow vestibules might be a hindrance...time will tell! What do you make of it?

Great Video Andrew. I am liking the look of this tent more and more, the fly gets quite close to the floor and I also agree it could do quite well in rougher/winter weather, I am looking forward to that.

Fantastic recommendation! That design looks really clever, it must be partly due to the way the fabric edges line up with the pole apices, to create a virtual pole. thanks for posting, but Andy, there are healthier alternatives in Tesco to a slop noodle! Oops, just realised i am not logged in as fellmandave, well, you know who i am.

How would you compare the internal space of the Vango against the Vern. I appreciate the Vango is 3 season but weighing it up with a couple of the newcomers. Keep up the good work 👍

Hi, Vern 1 feels from memory taller inside ( I think ) but a solo space, the Nexus feels deep and wide like proper 2 person size though low and sleek in the wind

Tent looks good. My mate is looking at a new tent and sent him the vid 👍Might give this a try tonight. Was originally planning on Killantringan Bay but now looks a bit cloudy down that way and a better chance of a sunset at Dunure with zero chance of good weather tomorrow.Plus would rather do a 10-15 min walk back in the rain instead of a 2.5 mile walk back to Portpatrick. We're the cows near we're you pitched?

Five foot eight so I fit most tents to be honest. It's quite low profile but I find it no problem unlike some others. The upside is the slippery shape in the wind which makes it strong.
