Check all the power connections first power brick inline power connector and the fuse in the plug. Also try the plug in a different socket maybe use and extension lead. Try the usb in a different slot. Check all the cables to makes sure that have not got trapped or frayed. If all that fails then you may need to get in touch with Logitech for a repair sorry….. gook luck.

Good morning - sorry this is still playing up I know how frustrating gadgets can be sometimes it is like they do it on purpose! Not sure what wires you have in mind. There are four cables coming out of the back of my wheel i) goes to the gear change, ii) connect to the pedals, iii) is the usb connection and the last one goes to the power block/adapter. Worth tracing each of the cables to see if they are frayed or snagged. Checking the power is plugged into the power block properly, check the plug - maybe in another socket or extension if you have one - also check the fuse in the plug. I would also try a different USB port (are you on the Xbox or a PC?). Finally, a few people on the channel have reported an internal fault in wiring could lead to a problem so for that I advise reaching out to Logitech whether or not it is in warranty. Hope you get it sorted. Can still do a short video if needed - though note sure what that would/could add?

Try simple stuff first unplug it and replug the power, do the same with the usb trying a different usb slot if you have one free. Then if still not working go through the connections again particularly the one from the plug to the power block. Finally last resort try i) plugging something else into the socket to make sure the power socket itself is working or ii) change the fuse in the plug if all else fails - hope that sorts it out and sorry for the frustration.

If the buttons are working that is a good sign. Have you checked in the settings and options whether the G920’is selected as the controller - worth opening Forza using the button on the wheel rather than the controller. Otherwise, be methodical.. check all the connections including the plug and fuse. Try a different usb socket on the Xbox X. Unplug and plug the usb joining cable - pushing it firmly. Check the cables for catching and fraying a couple of the cables can get stretched. Good luck let me know if you get it sorted and how?

Did you get it working just brought mine not working when ever I go on a game nothing only works on the main xbox dashboard

I also found with some games you need to ensure you start the game from the wheel rather than from the controller and then connect the wheel. Also, never forget restarting everything is not to be underrated if all else fails! Hope you get it sorted I know how frustrating gadgets can be when they do not want to comply.

Have you tried all the fixes …. Check the power connection into the block, power cables for splits and the plug fuse (this is the least obvious). Then try another usb socket as that sometimes works. If not then some have reported a loose wire can cause that and if so best to speak with Logitech support as it would be a pretty technical fix. Let me know how you get on?

I have seen some on here where there is a loose wire inside and if that is your issue (hopefully not) then might need to contact Logitech for a repair. Just having this issue with a G29. Checked fuses, everything’s good but it won’t work. Slow blinking light seems to be a power cord issue. So at least there’s that

Never experienced this myself though searching suggests this is definitely a problem with one of the wires going to the PCB likely coming from the wheel base and stretched by rotation. Some of the posts also suggest it is a fix that can be repaired though two things i) apparently the wires are very thin and so sounds tricky to me ii) if you try you would definitely void any warranty if you have any left… maybe worth emailing Logitech to see if they can fix it - good luck mate frustrating when gadgets don’t work…

@@user-nb4jd6mf4d depending how you shift gears - try holding down the brake pedal or if using paddle shift when you get to 1 - shift down again - hope you get it sorted.

Not sure what you mean by ‘rpm lights’….The first thing always to try is to make sure that the connection to the power brick is properly seated and that it is properly plugged into the wall ( always worth rechecking) - then check the cables connecting the pedals gear shift etc. Does it do a self test when you restart your system - full turns one way then the other?

Check the plug in the wall (and that the socket is switched on too) - check the wire into the power adapter - check the pedals connection is plugged in - if you are using an extension cable try it straight onto the socket with the plug from the wheel. Try a different USB port. If all that fails May need to get in touch with Logitech - frustrating I know sorry it is playing up….

Same principles apply on the Xbox as on the PC. Try to double check connections, fuse in the plug, and then try another usb slot on the Xbox. Trace all the wires back to see if any have been caught or pinched - good luck 🤞

So might be you are where you need to speak to Logitech support some people have said they had a loose wire in the steering wheel that was not fixable themselves. Frustrating I know when our gadgets will not work. The only other thing that occurs is does the game you are using it with support the wheel?

Some people have said there may be a loose or worn wire problem inside the wheel - suggest getting hold of Logitech support they are very helpful - appreciate how frustrating gadgets can be when they do not do what they are supposed to.

If you have checked the power then simply try unplugging and reconnecting the USB. After that it may be that the wheel has just developed a fault so Logitech Customer Service may be the final option left - fingers crossed you can get it sorted.

Sorry if it did not help - some people have said that if it is not the power nor the usb connection then it may be an internal circuit connection - worth checking whether it is still covered by warranty and contacting Logitech maybe?

Sorry frustrating I know… check no other controller is connected first. Simply unplugging and reconnection the USB connection can work wonders. Are you sure the game you are playing supports the G290?

Thanks for watching and sorry you are still struggling with the wheel - check no other controllers are connected/active - unplug and replug the USB connection (really that does work sometimes) - check the game supports the wheel - ensure Xbox itself is fully updated….? After that then it may just be a fault with the wheel there is a connection fault mentioned in some other related videos online - hope you get it sorted.
