I doubt they’ll bring Shadow in this early in Sonic’s film franchise, especially if Knuckles is set to appear. At most, he'll likely be in a post-credits tease.

Yeah, I agree. Tbh, it's good that they're introduing G.U.N. early so it's not a random military force that is introduced in a later film for plot reasons; establish it now then come Shadow's film it won't be out of nowhere

I think the only characters who have a chance for the 2nd movie are the iconic classic ones like outside of images of tails and Knuckles other ones who have a chance are metal sonic and amy

@@ckforbes220 I’m keeping all predictions until we get a trailer, BUT a Shadow scene wouldn’t be unlikely. Robotnik might be defeated a second time and during an end-credits scene he summons Shadow from his GUN chamber kinda like in Adventure 2. So it ‘could’ happen

Has anyone else had the idea that Eggman is going to create Metal Sonic with Sonic’s quill? (I’m not sure if you made a theory about that yet)

This was my theory for the plot of this second movie. An initial beef with Knuckles that after their big interaction / Brawl Eggman appears to Sonic’s surprise and reveals he created Metal Sonic from the Quill’s power. Then there’s a massive speedy fight between Sonic and Metal Sonic while Tails and Eggman duel. Then Knuckles eventually comes in as the difference maker and turns the tide just before the heroes lose
