🦕I'm 69 and in a clinical trial for Survodutide. In 15 weeks I am down 22 lbs. I am off blood pressure meds and my fasting blood sugar has gone from 110 to 95!!! Love your content! Thanks for all you do.

Your excitement at all the pipeline meds is palpable. ☺️ Regarding Mazdutide (is GLP-1 + glucagon)… not sure it *ever* comes to the US. 🇺🇸 All the trials to date for it have been done in China (as you noted), plus Lilly already has Retatrutide, higher-dose Tirzepatide, and Orforglipron all hitting the US over the next 2-3 years. But, could see them maybe selling it in India or East Asia (outside of China)? We’ll see. They’ve said zilch on this, so we can only guess. But there’s no US trials at all so far. 🤷‍♂️ On Retatrutide, here’s a comment I made on your very recent ‘Zepbound Compound’ vid, where you were talking Reta and high-dose Tirzepatide. I also mentioned some other pipeline drugs, hopefully it’s a bit interesting. (Btw, you should talk about CagriSema more, IMHO. The weight-loss numbers equal Reta’s, and it should be available about a YEAR before Reta(!). It’s from Novo, so think of it as ‘Ozempic 2.0’. ☑️ ) Comment: …since you mentioned high-dose Tirzepatide and Retatrutide: - The higher doses of Tirzepatide in trials are *20 and 25mg,* not 17.5 and 20mg. Some ppl associated with the trial have communicated this, but for obvious reasons, can’t give a source (NDAs etc). - You may have the impression that Retatrutide is all about ‘super appetite-suppression’. BUT, from comments from ppl in the Reta trials, this doesn’t seem to be the case for many. What most of them are saying is the appetite suppression with Reta is actually *weaker* than with Tirzepatide, or at least it’s *different.* Its more like semaglutide (Wegovy/Ozempic) in that the app suppression isn’t so much a constant, in-your-brain thing. Rather, you DO get hungry, but once you start eating, you get FULL very quickly. This would seem to lend itself well to a ‘several small meals a day’ eating regimen, as opposed to one huge meal, or even intermittent fasting. Could also see how some ppl might actually PREFER high-dose Tirzepatide over Retatrutide for this reason. Maybe especially folks with eating disorders. 😢 And, while Reta’s weight-loss numbers will be better, those 20 and 25mg Tirz doses should close the gap considerably. ✅ I’ll still try Reta, ’cuz it provides an energy and metabolism boost (part of why it’s weight-loss numbers are so good despite having nominally weaker/different app-suppresh), and ‘cuz it’s SO good at resolving/reversing fatty liver (I have it at moderate stage). 🌟 Finally, Reta no longer stands alone with the highest weight-loss numbers, we think (I say ‘think’, ‘cuz some of this is based on early-stage trial data): -CagriSema, from Novo, should come out about a YEAR earlier than Reta, and seems to be about equal to Reta on the WL numbers. Also, it’s GLP-1 + amylin. Amylin is a satiety hormone. It’s possible CagriSema may have really fantastic app-suppression. 🤔 - Three ‘dark horses’ seem to have *even better* numbers than Reta: MariTide, from Amgen. VK2735, from Viking Therapeutics. CT-388, from Roche/Carmot. But, the bummer with those is, you’ll likely be waiting ‘til late-2027 to 2029, aka *even later* than Reta. And their results aren’t all *that* much higher than Reta or CagriSema. 🤔 Finally, ppl should maybe not despair so much at the long waits for all these cool next-gen meds. Yes, the wait’s very annoying, but a good part of your weight-loss remains firmly under YOUR control, via maximizing your lifestyle changes, so as to get the MOST out of the meds that are available to you TODAY. Yeah? 👍 *You’re* still the captain of the ship, even if cooler ships are coming. 🛳 Hope that’s helpful. Lates, Elizabeth. 👋

Usually when a drug gets very widespread use, prices come way down. WHEN is this going to happen?! They are really making a killing off of this and this has got to change. The masses will give them edge to scale in their manufacturing. I really hope this gets to be a hot topic in the coming yerar to push this to more of the masses.

🦖 In the 1990s I heard a lecture from an elderly man who became Type 1 diabetic as a child. He saw the beginning of the use of insulin. He talked about how type 1 diabetes was a death sentence prior to the understanding of sugar checking and injection of insulin.

As long as we have access to these life changing medications is all that matters! Over time they will get better and better. That my friends is good for all us. Yay!

🙌 Hi sweet friend! I’ve been MIA because I’ve been super sick. I am losing my insurance coverage at the end of the month and currently on 12.5. My endocrinologist called in three months of 15mg even with expressing concerns about going up just because it was either that or 10 mg. 10 mg is still on backorder and I had just filled 12.5. Her response to me was that one of these other ones will be out eventually not to worry about being at a high dose. 🤷‍♀️ lol all I know is that I’m going with the flow and doing my best! Love you, queen! 💜 Edit: for the first time since I was 18 or 19 every single lab result was good and in range for me! This is huge! So grateful💜🙏

I've been following the information about maridebart cafraglutide branded MariTide by Amgen. It's a GLP-1 agonist (activator) linked with a GIP antagonist (blocker). So in some ways it works conversely to tirzepatide on the GIP side of things but the trial results look staggering. Firstly doses are administered once a month as opposed to once per week and on average trail patients lost 14.5% of BW in 12, yes TWELVE weeks. Moreover, the weight was kept off for 5 months after the last dose in many cases. Really promising.

At 75, balance is a concern so one with a bar to hold onto. Do you have a recommendation? Hopefully in under $200 range? Thanks for your consideration. I’ve already followed your advice on LMNT, water tumbler, food scale, weight scale and measuring tape.

I have been doing a good job of keeping the protein above 100g, that really helps with keeping my full. Plus trying to walk a couple miles every day, even when I'm exhausted. So thank you again! 😊
