🐢 Turtles unite🙋🏻‍♀️. I am definitely a turtle and I’m working hard on being ok with that. Today was my second Saturday back at water aerobics (only day my work schedule allows) and I’m proud to be back at it. I have fibromyalgia and it’s been a workout that my body can handle that doesn’t cause a flare. I’m the youngest one in the group but I love all the senior ladies there. They make me feel so welcome and are so kind.

🐢🐢🐢 I started this journey April 22 2024 after watching all your video’s Countess of shopping. I took in as much as possible and your tips have been very helpful. I love this group such kindness and support. I remember looking 👀 at myself in the mirror 🪞 and “thinking who are you “. Now I feel hopeful for a happier heather me. My 29 year old daughter said she was excited to see me like she’s never seen me before. She is engaged to be married and I am looking forward to having those special pictures with my daughter. 🐢 New to Mounjaro and starting my second month. Staying at 2.5 another month because the 5mg dose isn’t available. Seems to be working for me and my goals, and I’m thrilled. Definitely feel that slow and steady wins this race. Can’t wait to see what my blood sugar levels show in a couple of weeks. Thank you for all of your videos. My husband laughs at my information “overload”, but I find it interesting and inspirational.❤

🐢 love your content. On zepbound for 6 months and lost 28 pounds. Currently on 10mg for last month. I workout 4 times a week and generally eat healthy. Hopefully will lose another 15 pounds. Current weight 147 goal weight 130. God bless you Countess!!🙏🦋💕

🐢 I love your videos! I also just joined your group and it is amazing! I just started my mounjaro journey about three weeks ago. I didn't think the 2.5 was doing much for me because I switched over from Rybelsus( I'm type 2), but it turns out that I actually lost 7 lbs! Yay!! I will titrate up to 5mg ( it's already in my fridge😊) next week. I'm planning to slow down and stay at 5mg for a few months. The last couple of weeks I've also went low carb and started following weight watchers! Thanks again for all that you do for us!

🐢🐢 needed this one today. Had to be honest with myself and think about my protein goals. I haven’t been as focused as I was and it’s slowing my weight loss. This week I am going to be laser focused on hitting my 110-130 grams of protein a day, and always try to move more!

🐢 great info. I am one of those people who can have days/times where I don’t eat enough and it’s not necessarily from the appetite suppression but just out of habit from diet mentally. Hitting my protein numbers helps the most. For the entire month of June I am doing a running/walking challenges where you have to run or walk at least a mile a day - so I’ll be running later this afternoon

🐢 I had a great meeting with my trainer, and she talked about the laws of diminishing returns. She said everyone stalls at some point. So she has me increasing calories and eating more maintenance for a month. Then going into a deficit. The body isn't meant to be in a constant deficit. I struggle with great appetite suppression for a while ironically when due to the shortage I went from 12.5 to 10. My body seems to like 10. On 15 I would be halfway through the day and no desire to eat. It us amazing the different reactions to these meds. But one thing I can say I haven't gained a lot like in the past. Maintenance isn't bad either. But it is hard for my mind to comprehend!

@CountessofShopping my pleasure I am blessed to have a trainer with a Masters in exercise science , and her husband is dietician with his Masters as well. She is well versed in glp 1s. But her telling me that sometimes the body needs a break from calorie deficit was refreshing.

I was 200lbs In May of 2023 when i started the mounjaro I’m at 158lb and I’m at the 15mm. I have 18 more lbs to go but I’ve been stuck for 3 months at this weight and can’t seem to loose more. I walk and exercise and my diet is good. So it can be so frustrating at times

🐢 staying positive…started with Mounjaro 12/4/23. As of this week, down 52 pounds…slight stall, but finally got my Zep prescription after a very long wait due to the shortage. I think I’m lucky I’ve never needed to go higher than 5mg. I do track everything I eat via the WW app…and yes, some days it’s hard to eat enough.

🐢 🐢 🐢 I walked 1.1 miles this morning. My hip has been bothering me this week, so I had to start doing less. Doctor appointment with orthopedic doctor on Thursday. I started adding veggies and fruit to my everyday eating. (Something I have never done). I use Apple fitness plus for lifting weights and try to do one class 3 days a week. I have an Oura ring too, love the insight I get from it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

🐢🐢🐢When I first started on MJ last September, I was losing about 2 to 3lbs per week. After losing 65 pounds in 10mth, I now lose about half a pound a week. I'm good with that as long as I'm still going down. And with the Renpho scale (that you recommended 😊), I can see my BMI and Body Fat % continuing to go down. So that's a good motivator.

🐢🐢🐢🐢 Lost 30 pounds and on 160 units of long acting insulin daily still. I seriously saw appetite suppression this week. I guess I am going to be one of the slow losers due to insulin resistance still. Good news A1c is not 14 it’s around 6. My average glucose this week was around 110. Anything under 150 is a good biometric measurement. Right now chopping cauliflower to roast . Rest of family wants corn and potatoes.. so I might chop radishes next and make radish puff with cheese and egg. Might even try the cottage cheese and egg flatbread hack

🐢 my daughter is beyond frustrated with me because the gym we belong too has FREE aquatic classes which are perfect for me. If i would go. i am ok once i get out of the house and get there. I am all in. it is the getting up, getting ready and getting out of the freaking house. They have classes three times a week and I have yet to attend a single one. This is a bad habit that I am going to work on. Especially with how important it is to watch my muscle loss. i've got mobility issues with a bad knee that keeps me from walking without a rolator but being in the water, i have no limits. So you guys, help me be accountable. I plan to go Wednesday morning. next... i just took my second injection of 7.5 and my stall is broken! Finally! i'm officially down 31 pounds now as of yesterday. i've got the smart measuring tape and tomorrow when I get home from work I plan on doing all of the measurements. The scale is fantastic! i imagine the tape measure will help me see in inches lost when the numbers seem to be stuck.

🐢 I'm going on 3 weeks of 2.5 mg of zepbound with no major side effects... not a ton of appetite suppressant either. hmmm! still eating well... trying to increase my protein intake for sure. will up the exercise once I get my peloton set up again .. miss cycling!

Turtle-slow n steady goes the journey. Lost 3lbs over a get away mid week trip where I wasn’t eating same same home food?? Maybe “long walks on the beach” did the trick? No matter how it comes off, I’ll take it

My doctor wants me to stay on the same dose for 2 months. Slow and steady…don’t push the dosage up till I really need to.

There comes a point when your body is fighting against you, that it is more about WHAT you eat vs how much. I have SIBO and therefore a lot of food sensitivities that inflame my gut. Gluten, Dairy, Corn, sugar, soy and MANY vegetables like tomatoes and processed foods like protein bars unless they are clean. It SUCKS! But since I started understanding this and working to heal my gut, the weight loss came off. Your BioCare shake has Maltodextrin which is one of the worst things for weight loss. It also has Whey, Soy and “natural” flavors which is not good. I have to eat a protein powder with clean ingredients like Equip Prime. Some veggies have lectins and oxalates which wreak havoc on the gut and joints. Heal your gut and the weight will drop!

🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢…..Fasted for 29 hours. Wasn’t hungry. Felt good. Broke the fast with boars head oven roasted turkey boars head white cheddar cheese with pickle wrapped up couple radish’s and sliced cucumbers. Raw Serrano pepper on the side. Protein2o water. Some days I don’t wanna eat. Think we should do a fasting challenge.
