I’m not a big fan of background music on vids like this, but this track is OK. I DO agree that it’s too loud for “background”. Maybe 20% less would be the sweet spot?

Hey, bro, Nick, just wanna say one thing to you after watching a lot of your videos. And I'm planning on watching more. I sure hope you treat your dad really well. It's not every day that a father leaves a legacy. Or a opportunity like that for their child. Or children, your dad is pretty amazing guy. And I know what it's like to live with someone VS know someone but your dad seems like he just wants to just enjoy what he does. And I hope that you appreciate that. Because my father never appreciated that I wanted to be something more than he was and He still doesn't

I like your video’s because they’re chill and usually well explained. The music doesn’t add to this vibe! So my opinion is, no music! :) or maybe more lofi hiphop (look it up on Spotify) that doesn’t intrude as much.

Comparing the factory intake manifold to the performer the difference is weight but the factory flows better and if you want something to flow better than go with the Edelbrock Torker unless you can find a '70 4 4 2 W-30 aluminum intake but they are rare and expensive if you can find them

Here you go put that 455 Oldsmobile in your Buick. What do you think of that.
@Marc816
@Marc816 3 жыл бұрын
The 455 Olds V8 had only one weak point: too small an oil pan, only 4 quart capacity. It should have had much more than that. In contrast, the 2001 Aurora 4.0 V8, only a bit more than half the size of the 455 (244 cubic inches) has a 7 quart pan.
@1575murray
@1575murray 7 ай бұрын
The other weakness is that the oiling system sent too much oil to the heads and it didn't drain back to the pan quickly enough.

Hello , i was watching your video with interest, I have a 371 Oldsmobile running in my 58 olds. It has 124 k miles on the motor. does not use any oil ,does not smoke etc but i do notice when i stop at lights etc there is some vapour coming from under the car from a breather tube. could this be a sign that i may need to think about a rebuild ? Many Thanks.. Great video you have done !!!!

Wouldn't hurt to pull it down and check the valves and seats to make sure they're newer and meant for unleaded gas. Check ring gaps, but if you have some blowby then a leak-down test will let you know how bad it is.
@skylinefever

There will always be vapor out of a road draft tube. What I don't know is how acceptable it is. The longer you stay in one place the more vapor you will see.
