Most minecrafters: "Ah, my double stone generator is working, and producing an acceptable amount" Ilmango at 4 generators: "Humm..." Ilmango at 6 generators, producing 30 stone every 30 ticks "Still not good enough" Never change, sir, never change.

Wait isn't one stone per tick the maximum possible when insta mining with a silk touch pickaxe? More would require more players or moving to a tnt based cobblestone/super smelter farm.

@@stupidAgeverificatio that was my point lol the first 30stone per 30 ticks is brilliant, but Ilmango just had to try to improve it.

me and my friends actually though of the same idea a while ago, except it was 256x256 blocks (the size of mobile worlds) and there was no custom spawners, it was all natural. its very hard cause you have very limited resources and some game mechanics are biome dependent, and we didnt have those biomes, etc

Yeah, that is the scary thing about good spawn proofing, every spawnable block is suddenly quite a threat! Watching that time lapse made me wonder what a good mob switch would look like without being able to leave the spawn chunks. All I could think of was using zombie villagers, putting them on 2 by 2 block area and needing to use 1 potion plus many...many golden apples every time. edit: many grammatical errors.
@madman2572
@madman2572 2 жыл бұрын
@@zebedeesummers4413 you could have a system that loads/unloads zillagers/shulkers in minecarts. It would work but since the mobs are not stored in lazy chunks, you would have 500+ mobs continuously loaded = tons of lag. No way around this part of it so I'm guessing they won't bother.

Stacking the lava side by side and using double/triple piston extenders is really clever! I feel like that triple stone generator would break if all the stone wasn't mined away due to lag. The left over stone would back up, and when the sticky pistons try to pull newly generated stone down, instead they push the stone up into the lava...? Or maybe I'm worrying about a nonexistent problem.

Hey mango, I saw a post on the /r/Minecraft subreddit recently about a type of slime block sweeper farm that didn’t use flying machines, but had a “rail” of redstone dust activating the pistons. Idea being that it can’t be broken by unloading because it doesn’t depend on block updates. Which means instead of harvesting whenever your bamboo or whatever is fully grown and creating thousands of item entities, you can safely leave it running continuously and not have lag spikes from items
