Francisco Russo yeah same. A lot of features from the last 4 updates feel kinda cursed to me lol. Redstone on glass for instance.

One of my most vivid memories of old memories is trying to place a torch on the wall of my friends glass house underwater, on the og console version. Placing torches on glass seems like a sin to me now

It broke on me, and I was wondering why it wasn't working. Then I realized that it was making so much that it filled the push block limit on the output line. Guess I should get on that blast chamber lol

This design will easily break without a reliable blast chamber. There's a lot of designs out there you can try out.

@@toastywaffles5006 I attached a command block that removed the block at the end of the chain. The machine works, but it needs somewhere to put those blocks otherwise the block limit will cause the machine to break

Thanks a bunch for this farm ilmango! I did some tweaks to the one i built, a tnt refill at the button for cobble and basalt switch with warning if empty for tnt and a safety for switch button when machine is running. I love this farm :D

First time I actually see a double piston extender being useful for survival

They're also pretty useful to make a mob farm with both a manual and an afk setting. I made a guardian farm for example which uses a set of double piston extenders. It has a 4 wide tunnel leading into a drop chute. I let them fall from just the right height to die, but if I want to get xp from it as well, I just flick a lever which toggles two double piston extenders, lowering the last block of the tunnel by 1 block, so that they have 1 hp left. You could also do this with other mobs of course, which is pretty useful

Was originally having troubles with the design, but after tinkering a bit with the modules that connect the stream to the blast chamber and placing down an activator rail instead of a powered rail, the pistons in front of the farm now seem to manage the flow of blocks instead of pushing each other, like I was having issues with, and the farm now seems to work quite well. Sweet design!

For anyone planning to use this farm with a blast chamber for 1.18+ on Java, built it at the height of your blast chamber input or higher. For some reason, the smart upward piston 0-ticks (Super BUD included) seems to fire unreliably, leading the generator to break. However, any other direction (downward included) seems to do fine. Otherwise, still a great design!

This design does work in 1.16.2 if anyone is wondering. Built it in my survival world. I would recommend using a schematic to build it as the one he builds in the video is different from the world download.

I have a little problem.. Some of the modules who lead the cobble/basalt to the blast chamber just can't keep up.. So the cobble/basalt continues on its way and break the comparator of the module :/

Just as a general FYI, this should be built in one chunk. I was having issues with the pistons at the front not keeping up. I then realized the design in the world download was in the same chunk and mine crossed chunk boundaries. Once I moved mine to all be in one chunk, the front pistons stopped breaking. Thanks for the awesome design, Ilmango!

You probably let the chunk unload while the thing was running. This tends to break any multi chunk contraption. And even if you build the cobble/basalt generator in single chunk, you'll break your blast chamber if you let your base unload while the machines are running, so better learn to turn the stuff off before quitting the game or leaving the base. I built a pressure plate contraption in front of my nether portal and at the door of my base that plays a note block if I try to leave the base while something is running.

Hey this is really neat, if only cobblestone and basalt had different redstone resistance, ie: the amount of signal lost by traveling through the block, then variable block generation systems could be used to write readable and pushable memory chunks

Finally all hermits building the "manual farm" but I wanted no interactions , I scored that with some super slow way but I picked from the side with an awfully lot of pistons , I didn't even think to just push the block horizontal ly XD , I'm ashamed

They devs should have made it so you could generate blackstone instead since it can be used as a cobble substitute. It makes more sense for the "Live in the Nether" theme. IDK Basalt is a cool block too.

Just a heads up to everyone, this does not work with the concrete farm design recently created for xisuma by another channel. That blast chamber can't keep up lol. Will be using the mango design of blast chamber from now on ;)

Having an issue with this farm where the redstone dust for the smart piston keeps getting destroyed. The central piston doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the cobblestone/basalt generation rate, resulting in the system backing up. Suggestions? I am trying to use it on a server, going into a four way horizontal merger, going into a tnt blast chamber.

Four way horizontal merger sounds like a 6 game tick block stream. This generator produces a 4 game tick block stream, so a 4-way (I assume observer-based) merger will not work.
