Here's the English translation of the recipe:
Hey guys! I'm El Cookerino and today I'm going to show you how to prepare this super delicious fried rice with just a few tricks. A good chef doesn't throw anything away thoughtlessly. Do you have leftover rice? With just a few ingredients that almost everyone has at home, yesterday's rice becomes today's favorite dish. An authentic Asian flavor and the new favorite meal for the whole family. I love it!
Ingredients: (for two servings)
300g cooked basmati rice
1/2 onion
2 garlic cloves
3 eggs
1 carrot
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
1/2 bunch of spring onions
2 tbsp of canola or peanut oil
1 tbsp of Sambal Oelek
2 tbsp of rice vinegar
1 tbsp of sesame oil
30ml - 50ml of soy sauce (the more, the saltier)
Sriracha sauce to taste
Instructions:
- Cut 2 garlic cloves in half lengthwise and slice them thinly.
- Dice 1/2 onion into small pieces.
- Peel 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger with a teaspoon and chop it into small pieces.
- Peel 1 carrot and cut it into small pieces.
- Separate the roots from 1/2 bunch of spring onions, cut them in half lengthwise, and slice the lower parts thinly.
- Cut the upper half into small rings and set them aside separately. We will need them later for garnishing.
- Beat 3 eggs together well.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in a pan, add the eggs and move them around.
**Kitchen Hack: If you stack the egg mixture on top of each other, thicker and juicier pieces will be created.
- Set the eggs aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of canola oil in the pan, add the chopped vegetables and sauté briefly.
- Add 300g of cooked rice and the eggs to the pan and mix well with the vegetables.
- Add 1 tablespoon of Sambal Oelek, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and up to 50ml of soy sauce.
- Mix everything together well and give it a taste test.
- To serve, fill half of the rice mixture into a suitable bowl, press it lightly, and then flip it onto a plate.
- Garnish with Sriracha sauce and the spring onion rings according to your taste.
