About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

I was 35 and my friend was 62. We dressed up and went Trick or treating. Only one lady had an issue, but by the time our little song was over she was laughing. You are never too old to have some fun and live.

@@leslieball533 : dude Dad started it. Everyone knows you gotta treat the teen wildlife with respect or they might bite! 🤣😂 The commonly held belief that they're more afraid of you than you are of them applies to some but not others. It especially does NOT apply to the bearded cows. 🤣

I love seeing teens on Halloween! You're never too old to go trick or treating! It's better than a lot of other things they could be doing. Let them hold on to their childhood for a little longer.

Down in the South here, small town. We might get a few older teens, but they're very respectful and always wish us a Happy Halloween. More often than not, they're taking their younger siblings around and it's so sweet, they're always coaching them to say trick or treat and thank you, as well as have a blessed night!

Doug🤣🤣🤣. So my daughter had a neighbor who’s wife screams her husbands name Dale!! Dale!! All day everyday poor Dale. Now she only does it sometimes because all the Neighbors start screaming Dales name to shut her up.

I‘m 34 and the grump! I do turn off the lights and sit rather in the dark with a small candle with my family to pretend we are a not at home at halloween‘s evening😆

What are you even doing if you’re not parading your adorable costumed baby around the neighborhood? 😆 My October baby was 2 weeks old for his first Halloween. Despite me saving a bunch of cute babywearing costumes on Pinterest, I ultimately just put him in jack-o-lantern socks and skeleton PJs before passing TF out. 😂🥴

What DOES the fox say? Seriously though, don't give anyone a hard time when they are trick or treating. Who gives a flip if they are 9, 19, or 99? Besides, you just never know...my nephew was nearly 6 feet tall by the time he was 11, he was harassed trick or treating that year...he never went again. 🥺 Not to mention, some adults may have developmental delays. Just give everyone candy.

OMG, one year my husband stuffed some if his clothes with leaves and put it in our drive way with some bricks where the head was suposed to be. Our older neighbor next door went for his early morning walk and didn't remeber that it was Halloween time he just about had a heart attack. He raced up the stairs of his home to wake his son because he only speaks Chinese. His son just about fell out of bed laughing because he knew it was for Halloween. And he knew we usually go all out to decorate!! Great memory!!❤

I’m the horror fanatic😂. That being said Hocus Pocus is DEFINITELY a real Halloween movie and I’ll never show my kids no matter what age they are The Exorcist. My aunt showed me (7 at the time) and my 5 year old brother that movie to scare jesus into us (alone, in the dark, on a big screen television). Parents never let us sleep over again after that. 🎃✌️

I don’t care how old you are if you have a costume it’s free game! I tend to give more to teens and grown ups if they have a costume. If your a teen with no costume the light goes off! 🙌🤣🎃

😆 love it. I'm totally the horror fanatic when it comes to decorating. My house ends up being a stage set where parents come to take pictures of their kids. It's so much fun. I also have no issues with teens trick-or-treating. Hustle for that free candy as long as you can! Less for me to end up with at the end of the night (which used to be the opposite of my goal but the metabolism slows down the older we get and Thanksgiving is just around the corner 😂)!

I identify with more than one of these characters on any given day the whole month of October 😂. At one point last year I became a Halloween prop myself when my idiot husband left a short piece of rebar sticking out of the ground that was to put a prop on while we were decorating the yard for Halloween and I didn’t see it-and I impaled my leg on it, went and got 15 stitches, and came back and went back to work decorating because damnit, I was going to get that whole display up in time! Still with bloody stitches showing so I fit in with the decor. Now that’s dedication 😂. Or just plain crazy, whichever it is I’m fine with it :). I love Halloween so our whole large yard gets decorated, ain’t nothin’ stopping me!
