What Is The Minority Mindset?
The Minority Mindset has nothing to do with the way you look or what kind of family you're from. It's a mindset.
Give the majority $200 and they will come back with a pair of shoes. Give the minority $200 they will come back with $2,000.
Think from the mindset of a consumer and be the provider, that's the Minority Mindset. Don't be the majority. #MIH #GetMoneySmart

i started saving all my receipts and then looking at them every month an it helps pinpoint stupid spending i make min wage and pay for my own 1 bedroom apt and am able to save 100 a month i even quit smoking and drinking well i only drink on special occasions which was the first time i beat the system i drank my hundred. but i will say drinking and drugs eats up your money so i quit them both except on special occasions and about twice a year i allow myself i looked through and determined the best celebration days trust me partying daily is fun but partying on only special days is best i party 3 times a year my money goes up and i have a blast on those days i picked to party so i work for Indian people and know why you are who you are your Asian Indian is part of Asia. People are stupid but the indian people are poised to take the whole country because they own all the small businesses many really small but profit and America belongs to the hardest workers. Its odd to me because some indians play this im better than you game and what i call them is losers because in America everyone can move up.

That's because they have a broke mindset. Those same people also believe in something called "job security" but the reality is that a job only needs you until they don't. There is no security, you are simply a wage slave trading your precious time for a paycheck. They don't even think about studying economics/finance or how to grow your own wealth because they know that next paycheck will always be there, until it's not.

Air BnBs carry risk in themselves by the way. Just because you say x amount of people are supposed to be there, doesn't mean that group that's staying will keep it that way. Not to mention the up keep you have to do. On top of which you'll need to make sure insurance covers a situation like that in case a renter wants to pull some bs and try to squat or hurts themselves on your property.

I can save you the Time, my mentor always told me to never ever get an investor because if they don't understand your Biz it goes bye bye. And if they do understand your biz they will try to maximize their returns at the expense of your main competitive edge. So for an example let's say that Joe is setting up an online shoe store and then he gets a investor and the main edge that Joe had over his competetion was excellent customer service. And then the investor one day says that the customer service is way to expensive. What do you think is going to happen to Joes shoes?

Interesting - what you described as self-audit is exactly what I call budgeting. I do it monthly, but I have a nice tracking system, where I know where my money goes daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly up to every penny. But I do my main calculations and checks once a month. I wonder though why it's called "auditing" and not "budgeting"? It looks like it's the same thing to me.

I don't feel like I need the audit as I follow a written budget. But I do track my savings (investments, HSA, sinking funds) and debt repayment. I keep track month to month of the percentage saved/pay down vs. income. It changes each month, as our income fluctuates, but it's a good gauge for me personally to see how we're doing.
@spektred
@spektred 4 жыл бұрын
EVERYONE should still do occasional audits. Why? Even with your budgeting (which is good) you may find areas where you can improve or cut your expenses even lower. I called my credit cards and asked for lower rates and they gave them to me. I also noticed that the cost of my insurance was cheaper if I paid the yearly price. Every little bit helps, but if you're lazy an don't bother to look, you miss out on the opportunity for greater cash flow.

@@spektred This is a good point, and some of the things you mention are things I do, too. @@simonesmit6708 It's the same with many auto insurance policies, they will not cover you if they find out you got into an accident while using your car to do ride sharing like Uber/Lyft. Its the same deal if you disclose insurance that you are doing or will do Airbnb on your property if you really think about it. The higher the liability the more insurance company will not want to cover same deal like doing uber and insurance. Yes it might be a bit more work to get a renter into property though compared to Bnb but you cut middleman fees more profit to yourself. Lets also not kid ourselves Insurance companies are not in it for us...they are always ready to collect but when it comes to protection/claims its not the case been through insurance claim issues too many times personal experience sadly
