​@@sandy-pf9bbmy folks are gone, siblings and children not talking. So I haven't celebrated in a decade. Anything. Not Christmas, birthday, Valentine's, mother's day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter, nothing. A lot less stress and expense. I have spent a lot of time contemplating the meaning of family, and home, and what's my favorite part of each holiday. Sometimes it's the people and memories. But since those are being withheld, I can focus on only certain foods where if I have that, it's enough. But I'm thinking it might be interesting to just wrap up things you get yourself during the year. Even a bag of jerky or can of green beans, and save 24 - 25 of them for an Advent calendar type of thing. Put those aside. Wrap up others for your own birthday and stuff. By the time you open them you'll probably forget what's in there so it'll be a surprise. You could even buy or make yourself cards with encouraging love notes in them. I've picked up a few art supplies and I could have wrapped some of those . Maybe a recipe and some of the non perishable items to make it with all wrapped up together. Use holiday appropriate gift wrap. Dollar store stuff. You could use plain wrapping paper and stickers for each holiday. Gift yourself decorations for the holiday. A candle and a lighter. A calendar. A battery, light bulbs, first aid stuff, toilet paper, you could grab stuff you've got at home already and wrap it. Bar of soap, new razor, toothbrush etc . Make yourself a Xmas stocking with little stuff

My favorite adult store is Home Depot, followed by Harbor Freight as a close second.

@brianboehmer43 Technically, those are all aged stores. In my store, you have to be 18 to walk in. So, it's a true adult store.

Boys, I believe they are intended to be worn with solid color shirt with a collar underneath them. A crew neck sweater could go either way.

Nah. GC are great to use towards an expensive item you've been wanting/saving up for. Yeah, they CAN be lazy but ehh. Perspective.

I give two a year to my parents who have everything. I have to send them through the mail so they understand. Everyone else is broke so I just give them cash in a card. We rarely have anyone over to my parents for Christmas everyone is spread out. We usually rent a cabin on a lake for a week after Labour Day and most people come up for that.

You still have Super America? All of ours became Speedway 20+ years ago. They now sell 7-11 branded products including the Big Gulp.
