You guys will miss the upcoming Ramadan Bazaars..

Thank you very much! We could’ve easily made this a Top 100 list. We love fish head curry and putu piring in particular. We had to get a little creative to narrow it down and didn’t want to get too repetitive by putting too many individual kuih, so we lumped them into one. It is too bad we will miss them, but it will be best to go in the future when things are closer to normal and the bazaars will be in full force

Yes Soto usually servwd with chickeen broth and shredded chicken and yes the kuala selangor/tanjung karang area has the tastiest soto, about 30years ago i usually ask my father stop by on our way back to teluk intan or back to KL for one from a restaurant next to the river.....but there is another variation of sotobusing sliced beef (thisbyou can try in bagan dato at the pasar pagi (morning market on the weekends)... They too serve satays for breakfast there......other dishes that are popular in the area of Kuala Selangor - Tanjung Karang is Mentarang (a type of shellfish) Bakar..... also mee udang (though the most popular mee udang is from kuala sipitang, taiping also sg dua penang) but you can get them at Bagan Nakhoda Omar there.....talking of mee udang in penang, there is a restaurant in Juru, Penang thatbsells mee ketam and nasi ketam which is nice too..... and here in KL you can also find Maggi Ketam in Batu Caves. The famous kuala sipitang's Mak Jah's mee udang in wanga Maju...
