Those mufflers are EXACTLY where you want them. If you listen to modern builds you'll hear a raspy/$hitty tone . Keeping the mufflers right off the headers/exh manifolds will give you that '60's sound many builders search for. THANK GOODNESS ITS A 4 SPEED! 10 points for you!

She sounds amazing! My God, looking at what are potentially going to go through with that car reminds me of everything I have done to my 67. Fun times!!

Awesome car! That exhaust reminds me of a 67 Firebird I had years ago. Same muffler at the back both sides ran in to. Thanks for sharing.

Very informative, great video! The sound of the engine is amazing! I am looking forward to firing up the engine in my 1968 Camaro project car. I would love to see you restoring this car like the Le Mans blue 1969 Camaro!

I don't know if you know it but you have a factory Traction bar rear end Very rare you can tell can tell by the bracket hanging down on the right side of the Differential

Hi Robert, yes I am aware. This car was built on December 29 1966, so it should have had the round traction bar installed, but it didn’t. The front bracket that would have been welded to the floor is not there. So I may add it or leave it as it came from the factory.

Did you check the Body VIN# with the Engine VIN? It's not often at all to see a pre- Smog Block engine in a pre Smog Block Vehicle. You can check the Transmission #'s Alternator #'s Diff #'s etc: and see if you have a complete Numbers Matching car which will send the value through the roof.

Hi Stan, I sold the car a few months ago, but as seen in the videos, it is in my body shop getting a complete frame off body and paint restoration.

The switches for the headlights are called limit switches since they stop the motors when the lights reach their open and closed limits.

GM used many parts on multiple cars. That lid was probably used a lot of different cars for years.

@@digitalpizza1 I love the sound of the door closing. That's a tell-tale sign of a solid tight original body. Just let me know. Thnx. O yeah, enjoy your videos, especially the one when McNeish was there to certify 6 cars. Loved the Butternut Yellow Z.

I had to look twice at the lift weight limit something was covering the third "0" ! She sounds very nice and l didn't think she was loud , mind you l'm old and deaf ! I see she has the deluxe door cards and from what l glimpsed the interior looks very sound . The undercarriage is no trailer queen ! It's a great project car for someone and l guess 350 ? Oops ! It says 350 on the title John !
@digitalpizza1
@digitalpizza1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi John, The car is a lot louder than the video represented. The short pipes and glass pack mufflers just don't have that correct music that the early 350s had. Yes, a virgin 350 that has 62000 original miles and never touched.

How much will you be asking for it if you decide to sell it
@digitalpizza1
@digitalpizza1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Elvis, not sure how much if I were to decide to sell it, but I have about 25K invested so far including the initial purchase of the car. So, shoot me an offer if you are interested. The car runs so nice and is such an unmolested example, I am loving it more and more as I work on it :)

Did you find that 67 Camaro parked in a lake, that things a rust bucket !
@digitalpizza1
@digitalpizza1 2 жыл бұрын
You will see in upcoming videos that it was simply surface rust that came clean after we had it blasted. There are a couple of patches to the floor, but overall the car is hardly a rust bucket.

I am sorry, but that is not correct. The Rally Sports were a particular package option. So there were Rally Sports that also had either the SS package added, or the Z/28 package added. So, you either had a Camaro Rally Sport. a Rally Sport SS, or a Rally Sport Z/28. You can look that up on many websites or Forums that explain that, such as CRG, Camaro Research Group
