Sometimes the writers try so hard for comedy that they ignore how much of a jerk they make characters behave or how enabling of crappy behavior they are making other characters. Then again the writers kept rewriting Topanga and Corey's "love story" and made changes to Angela and Shawn's as well just because they either had amnesia or likely thought the audience didn't have enough brains to remember.

Yeahhh this episode chunk did NOT work for Cory or Shawn's characters as a real development considering how this season started. That whole buffet/diary violation SHOULD'VE been a dream sequence as an extension of Rachel's insecurities, leading to her waking up and snapping at Cory over him for something small (looking in the couch for a hidden keychain Eric left behind when he and Jack moved out)...THEN you talk about toleration and boundaries. Allison M. Gibson was clearly working through some stuff >

Technically, it wasn't Rachael's apt., it was Jack & Shawn's. But yeah, Rachael lives there, she invited the girls across for an evening & their respective boyfriends showed up but crashed the hangout. Then showed up unannounced with a key that she (or their brothers) didnt give them), ate the food, going through her personal stuff. Topanga gave her boyfriend a key to someone else's apartment is 🥴😵😵💫. Usually I adore Angela, but they both... in fact, all 4 of them did Rachael dirty here.

OK I know this is satirizing boyfriends going over the line in a lady's apartment, but if I were Rachel, I would have kicked them out at the food. lol They broke up her girls' night, they ate all her food, they rifled through her underwear drawer AND her diary....and then they called her a liar.
