It was a nickname my friends gave me when I was in highschool because I dressed like a hippie and was a ‘wild child’, when I came back into my faith they thought ‘the religious hippie’ was now a more appropriate nickname and it stuck!

I learned from this video that I do not struggle with wrath as much as I thought. Most of my anger is righteous anger or righteous anger that evolved to wrath because I didn't get it under control. I've already taken measures to combat my struggles. Thank you ❤

Wrath really pokes up a lot. Makes me think it’s rooted in pride sometimes. Like the pride is hurt in some way, that pain makes someone want to feel powerful to compensate and nothing is more powerful feeling than making someone else feel wrath upon them - justified or not.

If anyone is the target of my wrath, it's myself because I have control over my actions and I can't control the actions of others. I have completed the consecration to Divine Mercy found in Fr. Michael E. Gaitley's book "33 Days to Merciful Love", and although I do not pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy every day, I do find it helpful in growing in the virtues of patience and meekness.

I have anger that can rise up from how I've been treated in the past. A lot of it related to my late autism diagnosis. I agree, breathing, walking away and a perspective change are very helpful

I personally had an issue with Wrath when i was younger, i guess you can put it down to not enough life experience. The older you get; the calmer things became in life learning not to sweat on small things that don't really matter in life. With the help of the holy spirit, i can truly say that i have not felt Wrath in my life for a very very long time... Thanks be to God.... I recently watched a movie called "Sound Of Freedom" which was based on a true story... I have never in my life ever felt so much Wrath. I wanted to hurt these people. Even now when i think about it i get angry... any advice on how do i control this?... i don't know what i would do if i had one of these people in front of me...please pray for these children that are being manipulated.

Wrath is in my experience the most useful sin. Wrath is just anger without a direction. So direct it. Direct wrath at the problems of the world and you no longer have wrath, but righteous fury. God gave us a brain, and we should use it.
