Great vid. Two friendly suggestions- understanding how tax deferred accounts (such as a 401 or an IRA in the United States) work and understanding how to cut costs in everyday life (for example, buying store brand food instead of the fancier brands (which are usually the same thing) to save 50c to a dollar per item) to generate more cash.

I'm in my late 30's myself so a few of these aren't for me anymore, but the "laser focus" aspect really is true when owning a business. Do not let anything distract you when working towards a goal, you'll reap the benefits later. Great Advice for younger people Mark, wish you'd been around when i was in my 20's

I think he's mentioned in previous videos how big a fan he is on index funds so if you aren't really sure setting up a S&S ISA in Trading212 ISAs index funds are the way to go (VUSA the S&P500) averages a 8-10% return. I'd assume index funds might make up more than 50% then the rest would be individual stocks for I'd say brands you use daily like Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc

It all depends on what are your plans with taking French? If you are planning to move to France or a French speaking country one day, you won’t be wasting your time. However if that’s just because you don’t know what to do, maybe you could do further research about what would suit you the best for your future. Friendly advice from a French.

In my country interest rates start at 10% and inflation is around 10-15% annually, not most favorable condition for businesses that start from zero. But there’s other side, you only focus on highly marginal ideas that will bring profit immediately. You just won’t survive otherwise
