You may be referred to immigration court to fact deportation charges if you do not have other options for legally residing in the U.S. But you may have options. You should consult with a local lawyer.

I was so comfort , self confidence , honest, I didn't scared , why would I get scare & stress myself when relationship with my wife a bona fide , i gave quick real answers and I only told the truth about more than 22 Questions during my interview IR1. But I'm under administrative processes since Dec/2019..

I’m currently 15 years old and I live in Canada. I would like to immigrate to the US, but I heard the process is long and takes many years. I did a bit of research and found out that my grandparents who live in the US could adopt me. The problem is that I have to be under the age of 16 to meet the requirements and I turn 16 next month... Plus I wouldn’t be able to immigrate with the whole coronavirus thing going on. My question is are these requirements set in stone? Would they make an exception for my age since there’s a global pandemic around the world or not?
@BataraImmigrationLaw
@BataraImmigrationLaw 4 жыл бұрын
No one is sure how the government will interpret and treat situations like yours. There is a strong liklihood of denial if you only have a 30-day window because the adoption process, itself, takes several weeks, which would knock you out of the qualifying time period. It seems odd, however, that you are looking for your own adoption, rather than an adult.

Hello Mr.Batara, I have a question. I'm married to an USC. My PD is Sept 2018. I had my interview in June 2019. We werent separated. The interview went well and I was told by the IO that he will approve my case and then he went on to explain about conditional GC and how to remove conditions before the 2 year period. However, I still haven't received my greencard and my case status still says interview completed and case must be reviewed. When can I expect an update? Please let me know. Thank you

Hi. The government is moving very slow on cases and the decisions are taling longer and longer. I have seen some removal of conditions cases that take a few years.

If you come to the U.S. on a tourist visa, you must be a tourist. You cannot use such a visa for a pre-planned intention to live in the U.S. You should consult with a lawyer before you take any actions of such a nature.

It's best to reschedule the interview. But if your spouse is not ever going to attend with you, that means your marriage is probably on the rocks and may be nearing a divorce. I recommend talking to an attorney near where you live about such issues in greater depth.

They denied my husband’s I-130 petition for me before the interview🤔😳
@BataraImmigrationLaw
@BataraImmigrationLaw 4 жыл бұрын
That happens. The real key is why was it denied? And did the government have a solid basis for the denial? I suggest that you reach out to a lawyer near your place of residence to explore the reasons this happened and what, if anything, you should do next.
