She was extremely professional and did a great job keeping everyone calmed down (it is very hard to calm down when you are the person on the other end of a 911 call as, thankfully, that is a rare high stress experience for most of us!). Her daughter did well herself as she managed to answer all the questions asked despite being very frightened by the fire and loss of her home. Her reaction was all the more remarkable given that it was her own daughter she was talking to, though I’m sure that hearing everyone was safely out of the house helped immensely as everything else is just property and sentiment but the ones she loves were all safe.

My daughter is a 911 dispatcher and son-in-law is a cop. 4 kids ages 9mo to 11yrs. I know this is their nightmare. Yet blessing as well. Glad no one was hurt. God bless Mom and rest of family.

This woman is BRILLIANT! I hope if I ever had to call 911... I would get someone that's even half that professional! She deserves an award for being able to stay calm in a personal crisis!

I hope the family is okay, but why is this showing up on my feed now?

Agreed. A 2 year old video just popping up? You tube is strange lately.

Bro picking up the phone while on this job and then hear your childs voice on the phone must be the worst feeling in the world.

@@Mick8393 it is if you look up 911 dispatch takes sons call it should come up . As a mom it was unbelievably sad, he made it but it’s the fact as a parent no parent should get a call like that

If my mom was the dispatcher then I would’ve been the one calming my mom down 😂

I was 2 years old so I have no memory of this but on my parents anniversary my dad was working so we had dinner at my grandparents house and at the time my grandpa was a fireman so we would hear his pager any time it went off. During dinner it went off with our address saying it was on fire and we dropped everything and ran there. My dad didn’t even find out until hours later since we couldn’t get ahold of him. Turns out the family who had just moved into the upstairs half didn’t fix an electrical problem they had which ended up sparking and lighting on fire. Luckily nobody was home and there were no pets either. I’m sure if I were in my families shoes I would freak out being on the first responders side hearing something horrible has happened to your home, and this mom did an amazing job at not straying away from her duties as both a first responder and a mother. Huge props to her.
