Excellent comment... Good helps immensely. However, not all anxieties are rooted in the same cause. Trauma and anxiety /emotions also store in thy body as trauma... So, although not being alarmed by the symptoms helps immensely... It won't ultimately heal and break the cycle. This has been my experience anyway.

I'm struggling so bad every minute of the day almost I feel something wrong in my mind and body like I'm about to drop dead, even a breeze of wind or feeling in my shoulder or anything will make me think oh no this isn't right and that something bad is going to happen. My chest is constantly in pain and when I get stressed it gets worse. I keep convincing myself I'm going to die from a heart issue I have been to the hospital and had full blood tests twice and all came back healthy but a week goes by and it starts again and I'm thinking have they missed something or has something new developed. It's eating me alive. I feel uneasy and nervous and worried all the time my mind is going off on its own. What do I do 😭😭

i have social anxiety because of hyperhidrosis which means i sweat a lot, when im in public or interacting with people, i always aware of being sweating. When the little sweat came out from my face, the panic kicks in, my heart rapidly beating, my neck is hard, feel uncomfortable, and the worse is, i am begin to sweating more and more until i look like people who taking shower. Can u imagine that, in calm situations only me that sweat like taking bath, i am quitting organization, and the worse, i can't even go to mosque near my house, i used to be go to mosque every day, but in another mosque i doing fine, maybe because i dont know any people in there. My mind is full of reading other people mind. I think they see me weird, gay, drug addict, pedofil, big sins. I dont even smoke at all, touch alcohol, and never have gf. I dont do any of that at all but why i "look" like them, even the people who do that doesnt even look like that. I pray for my cureness every day though, i cant tell anybody that i have this issiue, even at my parents because i dont think they will understand the situations. The only hope is from Allah SWT. If Allah dont help me, my future carrer will be disaster😢

I am freezing with chills. This is EXACTLY my story. My story started in 2018 and I am now recovered. Full blown DPDR for over a year and only once I let go did I start to recover. With my growth mindset I kept tackling bigger and bigger goals to tame my anxiety. I don’t believe there’s anything I can’t handle now. Thank you for sharing 🙏 And to anyone thinking they will never recover. I was there. Every morning. Every night. “I can’t live like this anymore. It won’t go away” Yes it will. You will recover. Stop the negative thought loops and give in. You will start to heal, I promise.

Thanks for sharing I been having bad anxiety for the past week and a half and it’s mostly about random stuff or thoughts that don’t make any sense to be honest? I have watched a few Drs on here and they said to compare Fears to Facts and change you thinking and how to cope with them, they also said Facts gives you the ultimate power because if the facts can’t hurt you! Act on the facts not fear and accept anxiety The Drs also said to face your fears it helps. I’m trying to keep an opened minds and I will LET GO! I’m curious what kind of things did you do to help with your anxiety? I’m very happy for you I hope to hear back from you. 👍🙏💪

If you want to recover the bare minimum watch the videos and when you can afford it, get the blueprint. It changed my life when no family member, friend, doctor or therapist could help. Invest in your life, change your attitude and stop expecting everything to be free and easy. Best of luck with your recovery!

Now the only anxiety I have to overcome is my exam fears. I am stuck with my exams, I’m not able to sit and give a single exam, just because I have the fear of failing, this cycles into more stress and frustration for me, which keeps me unhappy, only I can experience this pain no one else can. My family only knows that I have fear of exams, they don’t even know that I haven’t even appeared for my papers yet, but I promise I will climb this mountain up again! Will get back up no matter what and will win this for my parents and myself. If not, I will surely do something in life which will make them proud one day! Thank you mom and dad for your support.

Warriors you have to surrender to conquer Anxiety. Anxiety is a demon that wants you to fight him but when you let your Anxiety bark and pay no heed to it, it will be gone forever.
@wessel_g45
@wessel_g45 Жыл бұрын
Here's what everyone should know: Stop trying to fix it and focus on what your value in life. Do that with courage, and you will get better. The reason the panic and anxiety persists is because you are trying to fix it and avoid it. By trying to fix and avoid, you are letting your brain know that there is indeed something dangerous to avoid. Your brain learns, and will now (being the survival device that it is) very helpfully look out for these dangerous things even more and sound the 'alarm' even faster. Resulting in more anxiety and more panic, with increasingly severe symptoms. Again: focus on what you value. You value friendship, or kindness? Good. Now however anxious and panicky you feel, you can still practice friendship and kindness. Just take the panic and anxiety with you, let it be there. You brain is just trying to protect you. Focus on what you value, do valued actions and show your brain what is actually important to you. This works.

I have struggled with mental illness and my mental health since I was a kid. Before I even knew what those terms were. After years of depression, anxiety, and even an attempt to take my life, I never thought I would be able to live without SSRI medications. I clung to them because it was the only thing that made my mind quiet, but it also made me a zombie. Microdosing has given me control of my mental health for the first time, and they essentially gave me my life back.

I experienced panic attacks for the first time a few months ago. I started feeling very dissociated from my surroundings. It was a very debilitating experience and I remember thinking I was all alone in the world and no one could understand what I was experiencing. I thought it’d last forever. I’d constantly compare myself to the past version of me, who didn’t deal with anxiety. Fast forward a few months & I’ve been able to bring my life back almost to normal. I still feel dissociated & anxious from time to time, but I know that it’ll pass. So to anyone that’s going through anxiety and feels like there’s no end to it, give it time. Better times are ahead. I know it’s hard to feel that way from the mind space that you’re in right now, but find peace in the fact that there will be times when you feel at bliss once again. Here’s a tip though- Don’t self diagnose and create more anxiety for yourself by scrolling through comments on social media & google articles. Back then, I had convinced myself that I had a severe anxiety disorder and DPDR just because of comments I read online. The best way to deal with anxiety, is through therapy and a good support system.

Omg I’ve never seen anyone else have the same anxiety of schizophrenia or bipolar. This was a fear of mine for months, probably the darkest time of my whole life. I’ve had that obsession twice and the second time I completely shut myself from the world for the fear of losing control or having a panic attack. I started questioning my reality and listened to see if I would hear any voices or see any hallucinations. It got so bad that I would start dissociating and then that was my “proof” I was crazy. I saw you had that written down and it made my heart happy for the first time in a while. Definitely subbing!

I feel like part of me recovered but not fully. I just barely feel the anxiety now. Even when i get those intrusive thoughts, i brush it off quite easily now. I just never acknowledge the anxiety even if my mind is screaming loudly at me. All I've really done is more working out, more sleep, write in my journal regularly and meditation. I can't say this enough! Meditation for me is the best thing ever! It really saved me from going completely mental and i mean that. I have health anxiety so every odd body sensation would drive me completely crazy and it would literally make me believe that i was dying. It was like this for me since 2020 but then i finally said to myself. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! And so this is how i started becoming more consistent with my journey to improving and bettering myself. As I've said previously i don't think I'm completely healed just yet but I'm most definitely in a much better position than i have ever been in my whole life. All you need to do is to keep at it and keep being as consistent as you possibly can and do NOT give up! 💯 💪🏽 you got this, friend 😊

Man I can’t tell you how much this relates to me. Mine all started in 2022. I was in the army for 6 years once I got out I became a cop. I was on night shift we just had a new baby boy and I wasn’t sleeping much at all. I had my first panic attack one evening before my shift and once that happened everything went down hill. I started to have panic attacks constantly and stopped eating. I was so damn scared but I didn’t know what to do. I was supposed to be strong and be a man as a veteran and a cop. Fast forward a year and a half later. I still struggle with anxiety but my medication has helped allot and I want to just keep getting better and better. Thank you for sharing your story!!!

I can relate so much to Shann and many others out there. My first panic attack happened when I just finished secondary school and started college. It was scary and at that time nobody really spoke much about anxiety nor panic attacks. I remember during classes in college I would leave room and sit on bench checking on myself and feeling my wet sweaty hands. I felt alone and terrified, I didn’t know what I was going through. I kept going to hospitals for check ups & thinking I was seriously ill. I don’t remember how but slowly anxiety and panic attacks disappeared ( I wish I kknew what I did ) and 10 or more years later I experienced another panic attack at this point I have forgotten how it feels like 😢so I panicked of some weird sensation I experienced ( like fainting, head spinning) I called my bf to come from work as I was telling him I was dying 😢 we went to ER and they did tests , nothing was wrong because when I got there I felt safe. It was hardest time of my life because the aftermath of panic attacks are something else. It took me long time to get better. Since then it’s been 4/5 years and some months are good , some are ok and some are bad. At the moment I am seeking some help because I realized I cannot do it by myself, unlike shaan i don’t have my family beside me as I live abroad, and I really wish they were here to support me 😢 I have hope and faith that I will find my way to get better, if we don’t push ourselves or keep going we will not survive in this 🌎 I would also like to think that anxiety is here to tell me a lot of things, I was happy before but I was not fully appreciating things in life, I always did things in a rush, I didn’t stop and look at the sky for longer than 1 minute, I didn’t appreciate my family or things I had in life , and list goes on…. At the end of the day we have to learn how to cope / overcome anything in life ❤ so we are all in this together, let’s do the work to succeed, remember just by feeling sorry for yourself won’t get u anywhere, only if we act we will see progress xxx sending everyone love and hugs whoever needs it 😊 🙏🤗

This is amazing, I really relate to this and this is hope for those going through it. Anxiety is a demon in itself, the trigger point can be pulled instantly over the tiniest of things and you don't have to be sad to be anxious it just happens and often we don't know why. Some situations don't require words to explain. I set up my channel using my passion for dance to reach out to others with anxiety and autism. The mind likes to play tricks on us, it is lovely to watch something you can relate to. It is right that no one knows what you go through unless they experience it themselves.

Personal experience on how I successfully overcame my anxiety: It's a cycle of thought --> emotion (what you feel) --> thought --> emotion (what you feel) .... First you need to differentiate between these two. Because dealing with one is different from dealing with the other. Since it's a circle, you must break one of these, but you can deal with both. Dealing with the thought(s) is more important. The circle (your anxiety) does not disappear instantly. But it becomes weaker every time you manage to break one element of it. 1. Regarding the emotions you might search for breathing techniques or methods to cause physical pain to lessen the feeling. And remember the emotion (= physical, what you actually feel when anxiety manifests itself) is not the same as the thought which triggered the emotion. You cannot fight the emotion itself or run away mentally without making things worse. But what you can do is to face the emotions which means to become aware of your bodily symptoms and accept them voluntarily. Your emotions cannot (!) force you to fight them mentally (= with your thoughts). That’s how the chain between emotion and thought can be cut by refusing to fight the emotion after having had the thought. 2. Regarding the thoughts themselves: Your thoughts can become an inner circle if you start catastrophising. Catastrophising should be interrupted right at the start and must not be thought through till some presumed result is found which falsely promises inner peace if you act according to it. How do you do it? Do not try to not think about it because that does not work. Instead, think about something else something that distracts you very easily (for instance, in my case that’s the latest football news). And now back to 1.. And remember, the anxiety circle doesn’t disappear instantly, but it becomes weaker every time focus on 1. or 2.. Your anxiety will steadily decrease by time, might take you days, weeks or months. But it works if you stick to it. You are in control: Your fear cannot force you to fight it. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1. John 4:18, highly recommend the entire 4th chapter) “God is love.” 1. John 4:16 Important: Your emotions cannot (!) force you to fight them mentally (= with your thoughts). That’s how the chain between emotion (1.) and thought (2.) can be cut by refusing to fight the emotion after having had the thought.

@@Blessed-qg2kb Hey friend, please go to a doctor! That being said, the following might help you understand the core of your problem. What fear has to do with love: Apart from this, the following might help you to understand - if you do know already - what perfect love means and what it has to with the nature of fear. Love in a divine sense is truly unconditional. Fear is always conditional. The one who fears thinks conditionally. "If X happens, it might cause Y to happen." X is the possible condition for Y. You're so afraid of Y that you'll act irrationally to avoid X. But why is it irrational to try to avoid X so hard if it minimizes the risk of Y. It is irrational because there is not only one Y. There are so many things we can lose. In fact, everything in this world is transient, everything fades at some. And this is the point where the beauty of love comes in. Which is truly unconditional from all eternity. Again, Christianity is really about the idea that: "God is love." 1. John 4:16 Love is not only what God is like, it is who he is. Love only exists in communion, in relationship. Therefore, God by his very essence must be something like a relationship of love. The love between Father and Son. The Holy Spirit. One in being/essence, three in person. In our human experience, perfect love seems to manifest itself when we give to others willing the good of the other. It is truly unconditional. Unconditionally giving. And here is God becoming man, living the perfect - sinless - life, taking all punishment upon himself and dying the most dreadful death one can possibly imagine sothat we might be saved. What more could one give - how could one give more unconditionally? Love is who he is. In Thomas Aquinas' words, God is 'ipsum esse per se subsistens'. Being itself subsisting. The sheer act of being. Love. That is what we see in the first books of the bible to our salvation in Jesus Christ. From the God who gives by creating, from the burning bush which was not consumed by its flames of self-giving love, to Pentecost. Then, "what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads" - the Holy Spirit. God is love. :) And through Jesus we are invited to join this relationship of love - to become one with the one who is love. By surrendering our lives and our worries to the one who has overcome fear and death for once and for all. This is how we can evade the conditions of this world thereby the condition of fear. I really hope you give love a chance - even though the advice might not be as practical as the first one above. All the best :)

He never gives up on us. He never gives up on YOU. Letting yourself be loved by Jesus changes everyhing. Truly trusting in his unconditional and most personal love for you. Sometimes it seems that we would almost prefer to have a physical rather than a mental problem as it can be seen, so it can be treated and, if we are lucky, receive tender, loving care from someone/anyone. Looking from the outside at a handsome young man, it is understandable that someone/anyone might never imagine the struggle and pain that was within you. I am so happy that you have moved on from your struggle and pain, at least for now sir. Of course there are always challenges to face in life but, having had your experience, perhaps you will be stronger and more prepared to tackle them than you might have been previously without them. I wish you blessings and peace

I actually knew all the way it was anxiety, but the symptoms just freaked the hell out of me, so I was constantly afraid of having those feelings again. And by living in fear, I stopped doing many things in my life and just succumbing into anxiety. The past 3 years were a hell to me, as nothing any therapist or psychiatrist could do to help me. Not even the medications were working well. Until I started watching these kind of videos about 2 weeks ago and started changing my mind about it. Really started to face my worst fear. I saw results immediately. I’m still recovering, but I’m glad I finally get to have hope again and see a way out of this 🙌🏻

It started the same way for me except it was the other way around. The doctors were telling me I had anxiety while I was in complete denial. I was convinced I had something other than anxiety. I refused to medicate. I always believed in my mental fortitude. And I refused to believe that I had no control over my mental state. It wasn’t until the physical effects lingered for some time that they became debilitating. From difficulty breathing that lasted for weeks to IBS that lasted much longer, the symptoms became severe that I had to finally acknowledge them. The road to recovery did not happen overnight. And to this day it’s a continuous fight to overcome those episodes. I’m glad to see you beat anxiety.

Accept that you are going through something & tell your mind "This will pass & you are not going to die". 2. You can remind yourself that how the last time you felt the same way, but then you came out of it, so this time too you will be fine(you won't die;) 3. Talk to your friend/ any person who can divert your mind or make you feel better and if you have no one to talk to, talk to yourself(positive self-talk) , trust me, you will feel better. 4. Don't force yourself to feel better soon, take as much time as needed, don't try to control it, just let it be, think something good(for e.g. what you're going to do the next day) 5. Don't be afraid of it, know you're more powerful than your thoughts, treat those thoughts as a bad person who is trying to harm the good person i.e. YOU. 6.Have a routine for each day & try to follow it, it will keep you engaged and in your list don't forget to add something that you love doing, basically, your soul food. It may take months and even years to recover, so don't be upset, give yourself the time needed. It won't just go away suddenly, you'll learn how to deal with it & once you see the reality, someday you'll realize that it has gone, having said that, it doesn't mean you'll never face it again, you may or you may not but the time span will be less(since now you know how to deal with it) & it won't have the same effect in you as it did before. In short, You are no more afraid of the "fear" now.

Just gotta get back into the routine again and continue on the path of acceptance. There will be good days, bad days, good weeks and bad weeks. We are not alone! Onward friends!

I finally can relate to the part where you said: I finally said its anxiety, no matter what I do i cant make it go away, so I just accepted it.... :) I used to hear that all the time but it never clicked me... now it has begun to click , I hope i am on the right path :)

This is exactly my story on the dot! Mine begin early 2022 and I’m still dealing with a bit of it. I went from being pretty out going to just wanted to stay at home. I was scared to go out because I felt that I would get a panic or anxiety attack. I visited many doctors, took so many medical tests and everything came back normal. I insisted that there was something wrong with me. I felt pain in every part of my body, every joint, head to toe to the point where I was really depressed. I felt like all the doctors were against me and why wouldn’t they tell me what’s wrong. I am slowly recuperating but now dealing with bad gastrointestinal issues which I believe all from the stress and anxiety has left me. Thank you for your video and for letting me know that there’s hope and light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Shaan. I suffer from anxiety and physical activity like sports always helped me with it. Last year I had disc bulge in my lower back . I got over it and still continued my physical activities to manage my anxiety. 2 months back I got a disc bulge in my neck and my lower back also seems to be hurting more . I'm quite depressed at the moment. Trying my best to be positive

I have been going through this for 3 and a half years. it started with chronic dizziness for me. that developed into an obsessive fear that I was developing schizophrenia (I wasn't). that theme lasted for a year and a half before switching to numerous different topics along the way.i have went through periods of severe agoraphobia. this past week im starting to have the worst panic attacks of my life multiple times a day. I can't sleep much and ive developed a fear of eating because it seems to trigger these horrible attacks without fail. These attacks are lasting hours too, and once I finally start to come down from it I get hit with another intense wave of panic. ive been to the hospital 4 times in the past 2 weeks, one of those trips by ambulance. I dont know how im supposed to get over this. I am starting to believe that I actually need medication. ive held off on it for so long because of all of the KZfaqrs saying that you dont need it. I have tried and tried to get better, and nothing has worked. I scheduled an apt with a psychiatrist the 20th. im hoping to get at least some of my old self back. this has taken just about everything from me, including my personality, goals, ambitions, relationships, etc.

Very sorry to hear all this. Is it only 3 years ago that it started or has it been recurring? Your age is important too. I have Complex PTSD and I'm wondering if you've ever suffered any severe trauma, either 1 event or repeated shit, through childhood or the military maybe? I think you need to speak 100% honestly to your doctor and/or mental health professional. There is a time and a place for meds sadly, there's only so much that "advice" or self-help stuff can achieve. Don't rule them out, I couldn't survive without certain meds. I wish you all the best and always remember, you're not alone ❤

hello, thank you for taking the time to respond. I am currently 24 and my issues started before my 21st birthday. aside from emotional neglect from my parents I can't pinpoint a "serious" traumatic event nor I fixate on one thing inparticular. I definitely believe trauma plays a role however, as I have struggled with dissociation a lot. CPTSD has definitely been proposed as a diagnosis by a therapist in the past. regardless, I am starting to see a psychiatrist because I cannot take it anymore. I just got fired from my job for calling out because of this. I am very scared for the future
@OffGridMadMan
@OffGridMadMan Жыл бұрын
@@thomasstrickland7383 emotional neglect could be more than enough to cause all your problems, don't underestimate it. Dissociation is weird ainnit, I too am affected by severe agoraphobia like you. Try not to be scared (easier said than done) and be proud and positive that you're taking the first steps towards healing. You're still very young, this could all be a thing of the past soon with your whole life ahead of you 👍👍👍

All the very best with your bold and courageous decision to seek help. Contrary to opinions of many that don’t condone the use of ,medication , there are numerous stories of the positive effect of medication. I personally had both challenging and extremely positive experiences with medication. You must give it time and find the right psychiatrist and find the right medication that suits you. Believe in the medication, never abuse it and once you use it correctly, it could be a lifesaver. This. Is strictly my personal opinion based on my 8 year ordeal with General Anxiety Disorder and Major Depression. Be well and take care; importantly have faith in the process and your ability to overcome this. We are much more resilient than we think..

I can't imagine going through this in your 20s. I am in my late 40s and have been dealing with this for about 2 months and I've been to some deep depths. I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and it's been a rough journey for me. Although I've lost over 30lbs in a little over 2 months, it has come at the cost of my mental health. But one of the keys for me recently has been controlling my blood sugar. It has really lessened that state of FEAR in the morning where I am literally too scared to get out of bed. Struggling through the day. I have dealt with many life regrets and sadness but I am not sure why I am dealing with it now. I am living my best life. I have a loving wife. Two older but healthy parents. Two young healthy children. And I am surrounded by friends and family that love me. It's very frustrating not being able to enjoy time with your family knowing that it is so fleeting. I have a deep fear of the future. Of losing my parents. Getting older. Dying. It paralyzes me. This is new to me but has probably been hidden in the back of my mind for many years. I just replay old memories in my head. For me, it's terrifying getting older. But taking some herbal supplements and magnesium have at least stopped the heart palpitations. Cutting the carbs and eating before 8ish has decreased the morning cortisol and has made at least these last few mornings, tolerable. And furthering my connection with God has helped immensely. Living for the day is something I am not used to. Time was never an issue for me. Now, it's all I think about at times. There's only so many times you can go outside and exercise and think about other things. Getting older is pretty hardcore.

As I sit here watching this profound video, I have tears welling up in my eyes. I am reminded of the shell of a person I was just two short years ago, with body pain and symptoms that convinced me I was dying every single day. I didn't correlate pain to poor mental health and I literally thought I was going crazy. It was until I had to finally surrender and accept that unless I took charge of my mental health, I would always feel like I was going to die. Discovering you has given me such a huge sense of validation for the first time ever. I am much better than I used to be. I couldn't see a way out. Watching your videos just solidifies how far I've come. I still need reminders every now and then but your videos and experiences are EVERYTHING to me. Thank you for holding your hand out to others and showing people how to overcome anxiety.

Thank you for sharing your story Shaan. Generally, I know im more anxious than most people because i worry about things that people around me never even think about. Looking back i have always have anxiety since i was a child. As long as i can remember i have always been like this. Later on i found out quite a lot of my family members have similar conditions, from my grandpa then passed on to my father and uncles then me and some of my cousins. I don’t know if what i’m experiencing is a different kind of anxiety or maybe something else. I do think my anxious state is amplified by my personality. Im not really convinced that it can be cured but i know it can be minimized.

Due to all your information I now recognise I had panic attacks in my early 20's, my hair fell out and I was put on pills to slow my heart rate (which I took for 2 weeks due to fear). I cut down my working days and made sure I didn't get overloaded because I had heart problems. I've continued to have heart problems, countless ECGs, I weirdly have a low heart rate, even during a panic attack, which thunders irregularly and has a weird squashy. feeling. I'm now 60 and have just been diagnosed with Anxiety! What a life changer it would have been if this had happened 35 years ago. You are helping so much and many of us are relying on you ❤ because doctors and health specialists are overwhelmed with Covid. Thank you so much.
