On point Shaan! Stage 3 / 4 in 3 months since I fell into the loop but this isn’t a race. The timeline doesn’t even matter. There will be setbacks. There will be days when symptoms will come on strong. I’m just really grateful I found your videos early on in my journey. I’ve watched so many and I think it’s your passion to help others fully recover is what sets your content apart 🔥 Eternally grateful for your mentorship 🖤 I’m a new person now 🧠✨

I recovered and it takes time. The key is just go with the flow of how you feel, good or bad. Don’t fight or try to get rid of anything, let it all be there for as long as it wants. This shows your brain that you’re not scared of the symptoms and that’s when real change starts. Good luck everyone!

@@ClemTigers281 Hi there, sorry never saw your reply. I never really used any of those things but I don’t see how they can hurt. As long as you don’t use them as a way to “avoid” anxiety it should be fine. You want to live as normal as you can and face anxiety head on. I used to meditate when I had it, and still do. Even when meditating I would let all the anxiety fly around in my head and not chase it away. Good Luck!

I got overwhelmed with worries couple of months back then all of a sudden my nerves was shattered, lights noise everything I couldn't handle. Got myself isolated with depression, then agoraphobia happened. Felt weak, dizzy fast heart beat. As soon as I realised the circle, I had to stop it. Started with a routine of walking my dog an HR a day. I feel uncomfortable if I put myself out there but it's just a feeling, you need to keep feeling uncomfortable to build new neaurotransmitters in your brain, new pathways. The more you put yourself out there the more resilient your becoming. It's just a feeling ❤ Godbless you all,

The key isn't fighting your anxiety, it's to allow it to be there while you enjoy doing the things you love. If you allow it to be there and don't pay it too much mind, you desensitize yourself to it and eventually your mind will stop reacting this way to your triggers. This is how you overcome chronic anxiety.

Something that really helped me overcome anxiety was a video i watched where the man said, everyone feels fear it’s natural but its your choice to be brave which means feeling fear and going through with whatever caused it anyways, that’s real bravery doing something that you’re afraid of, kind of like exposure therapy. As soon as i heard that something clicked inside me and slowly i started doing all the things i was afraid of and eventually these seemingly impossible things became easy... and overthinking went away. It didnt happen overnight but it happened.

I’m in the 3-4 stage right now. I am still experiencing a couple of symptoms but I have stopped trying to fight it and am choosing to live my life, do my hobbies, and hang out with people even if I still feel the symptoms. I have been dealing with this for about a month. It started because I overworked myself and burned out. It has been challenging but it has pushed me to incorporate things into my daily life that reduce stress and are beneficial for my health - like taking breaks, going for walks outside, cutting back on screen time, meditation, and learning to rest and to be ok with doing nothing. And I’m thankful that even though it has been hard, it is helping me to take better care of myself.

Man ive been having anxiety for 3 years. First year was back to back panic attacks every day. Literally lost 40lbs and thinking I'm going to die. First panic attack i was for sure thinking I'm dying and was even ok with it at that moment since it seemed like its happening. Eneded up passing out and fast forward medication has really helped and now my mindset has been strong so i rarely get anxiety. Sometimes it creeps up on or gives me symptoms but i just relax and breathe. The Quran relaxes me and being kind to my parents and wife makes me happy that if anything does happen i lived a life with love and that god has his plan. Death will just return men back to my lord. Be strong guys, it's hard, very hard. But it only strengthens you. The first time you overcome with your heart and mind. The door for recovery is now on the right track.

I remembered the time this anxiety started: February 1st, 2021. A combination of Quarterlife crisis, Seasonal Affective Disorder and staying in during the pandemic got to me and it caused my brain to go on an overload of anxiety and got my brain to think that the things that bring me pleasure in life aren't worth it anymore, that I'm wasting time no matter what I tried, and increase my fear of aging. But the problem is almost everything triggers my anxiety.

Also CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is the gold standard treatment. Also mindfulness and mindfulness meditation is incredibly helpful. Basically you have become afraid of your own anxiety so its become a vicious circle. But to overcome it you can learn to not be afraid of anxiet let it come and go by practicing acceptance. Go out and allow that anxiety, let it happen - don’t push it away or try to avoid it, move through it. Notes: Stage 1. Realise the problem/know its anxiety Stage 2. Acknowledge and accept your symptoms, stop resisting. Stage 3. Achive a neutral relationship with your symptoms, stop caring about them. (Hardest stage) Stage 4. Completely getting over anxiety and recovery, not letting any of it run your life. Extremly true video! I was/am that type of person stuck between phase 2/3 as you describe it. Where you are like ''Okay I accept it, it worked to a certain degree, WHY DO I STILL HAVE IT?!'' and you actually go back and you don't actually accept it. It's hard to realize that the process takes literally weeks... You very SLOWLY start to learn how to respond to your emotions, new situations, everyday tasks. It's a process... Oh and lastly, Psychotherapy is a game changer. I recommend a CBT, but anything helps A LOT. Literally if only you have an option to do so pls I beg you do it and live a great life... Guys let's all make it happen. I believe in us, I believe we can live great lives one day, let's just be patient: ''Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence.''

Despite having high cholesterol and hypertension, which led to my first panic attack last month, I was just diagnosed with high depression and extreme anxiety after repeated ER trips. I had to quit my job abroad since anxiety is wrecking my life day by day, especially in the last several weeks. I often experience palpitations and extreme dizziness at work, which makes it difficult for me to perform well. I used to be in denial and was always looking for a quick fix, but now I've made up my mind to accept my condition and put up with the symptoms until they go away. I'm making progress every day, and I'll soon return to my native country to be with my family. I'm exposing myself to a lot of things that triggers my anxiety and I hope I could see a lot of progress in the next few weeks. I'm not rushing as I need to give myself some time to recover but in a timely manner. Good luck everyone!

Shaan, great explanation of stages. Now, what about medications, like SSRIs people use. Like me. One thing, I really am more relaxed as they helped me to cool down, be less agitated, feel more relief, at the same time I can find myself somewhere between stage 3-4 now. But what is your opinion on that - do meds help your clients to recover faster, in a more decent way, and do stages feel the same, or there’s some other logic according to you?

I guess the only way to escape any kind of fear, anxiety, depression is to stop all the negative thought on the thing you are thinking...just literally focus on mindfulness, try to detach, don't add any negative meaning to the situation...it is not denying...pause and cry for a moment...but then detach...allowing broken pieces to be broken, things unclear and uncertain and certain relationships to not be fixed even if they mean the world to you...because it's accepting that no matter what we do to try to control everything in our minds, we can't! We are killing ourselves from trying to fix them...compartmentalizing, detaching, distracting and yes, finding the thing that makes us feel in a safe or happy place..or doing things that make us forget those negative things...I guess it's a skill that we will eventually have to learn...the world will always present us with negative things...the art of learning not to care for things we can't control...and detach and remove any negative emotions or meanings we attach to things and be hyperfocused on things that bring us peace and joy...that's the only way to live.

Then Had to Drive to Jersey From Upstate NY , had to put flashers on to get off Ny State Thruway to return home. Since then no longer driving to Jersey Plus curves on the road r the worst. Ten second summary: 1) Trying to get rid of symptoms. 2) Accepting symptoms. 3) Actually accepting symptoms. 4) Doing other stuff. Two second data extraction: 1) Fight it. 2) Accept it. Reality check: Zoom out and see that this is actually the stages of grief all over again. Denial (I'm fine). Anger (why me, grr). Bargaining (this is the fight part). Depression (nothing works). Acceptance (it do be like that).

Im lucky that i understand my health anxiety and knows its my mind reacting and why its scared 2 months been dealing it (from numbness to heart palpitation also headache like that feels like im on a boat ) im on stage 3 right now but like what he told its 2 and 3 and 2 and 3 again and again its hard because you will become addicted to "acceptance" but when acceptance dont work you will panic and that panic will counter your syntoms again and will make it stronger

Do it as I tell you, in the order I'm telling you: In the morning start doing 15-20 minutes of yoga asanas (poses). The easy ones After the poses do first time for 1-2 minutes bastrika respiration (inhale, and exhale, with your nostrils largely open, if you inhale for 4 seconds, you will exhale for 4 seconds too). Next you do nadi shodan pranayama (alternating respiration through nostrils, with the mouth shout). Do it again in the evening:) In a few weeks you will be better. Some times, the symptoms will still come, but at a lower intensity. Anxiety is produced by the body, not by the mind, hence yoga posing and yoga breathing will rewire your nervous sistem in the proper way, over the time. Anxiety is body trauma, remembered by the body, at a cellular level. Take your medication too.

This type of approach may work for mild anxiety, but, how are you suppose to go on about your day when anxiety is keeping you from eating or sleeping? You can’t focus on anything so how are you suppose to work? Your blood pressure and heart rate are thru the roof and your suppose to just carry on? Cmon man

My body is acting up with some unexplained physical symptoms. I cannot work because of these unexplained physical symptom. This increases my tension and stress. My mental state becomes completely scattered. A different kind of bad feeling happens to me and very hard for me to bear. I don't know what to call this feeling. It is not because of any stress, tension, fear or any sadness that these symptoms start but from these, tension and fear start in me. A kind of pain starts from the left side of my chest which is felt from the chest to the inside of the eye sockets and the scalp. The chest becomes very heavy and everything inside seems to be churning. The left side of my lip started to tingle when the levels increased. I feel like this most after waking up. My chest feels like a brick. My symptoms revolve around chest, lips, eyes and head. The worst feeling is because of the bad feeling. This painful feeling causes panic in me. My academic life has already destroyed because of this problem & now I don't know what will I do in future.
