Not much to say. Quick rip on the FXRC. Opening the bike up a bit more each day and getting more comfortable on it. I don't have the best roads nearby for testing the curves. I'll take it on a trip hopefully in the fall. The video frame rate and the engine vibration match up when the bike is idling, causing some funky looking movement.

@@EngineersGarage1 I have a 85' FXR that's suddenly misting oil (I believe) that's spraying me in the face, helmet and on my right shoulder. Thought it was forks or brake fluid leaking, but they're not. Any idea where else it could be coming from? Kind of weird.

Nice video and angles dude, its awesome to see the bike and watch it rip. The little details on your bike are next level too, the ARP's, chachos, the chrome. Its all come together awesome.

Thanks brother! Never was a big chrome guy but this bike changed me. Just doing what I can with the angles without biting the bullet and buying a 3d cam.

Awesome the way it turned out. I think you need to richen up the carb a little which will get rid of that popping thru the exhaust.

What rotors and brake lines are you running up front? I just replaced my buckhorns with mid rise bars and need a shorter brake line set up.

Thanks! Feuling reaper 543 cams. I used some 06+ heads and ported them myself. With fueling beehive valve springs and retainers

How’d you square away the radial mount brakes with the 9 spoke mags? Were they a bolt on solution? Rotor spacer or did you shave the back of the calipers?

It wasn't as difficult as many make it seem. Its mostly bolt on. I didn't shave the calipers at all. I'm using bagger bros radial mounts(same as speed merchants). I put spacers between the rotors and wheel hub( secure.vulcanworks.net/store/timken-bearing-wheel-to-2000-07-39mm-front-end.html ). Additionally I'm running 11.8 rotors, which places the caliper higher up in relation to the center of the wheel. The spokes get narrower towards the top giving more caliper clearance. With that its just a game of playing with thin washers under the calipers and between the radial mount and fork to get the calipers centered on the rotor.

I've been working on tuning it with an AFR gauge. Its not as lean as most people think. 13.5 at WOT. I've gotten it to 12.5 WOT now

How difficult was putting the twin cam in the FXR frame?

Not too bad at all. I have a bunch of videos on the process. A 99-05 bagger engine and trans will nearly bolt right in. Best bet would be a 99-00 transmission so you don't need to change the pivot shaft.
