Here's a song I wrote and recorded with a variety of equipment. I originally had a stand alone mixer/recorder from Boss which was used to capture most of the song. After that, I uploaded it onto my computer and used Sonar to clean it up as best I could. Finally I used some the great orchestral samples from Cinesamples to fill it out in the middle and end a bit.
A Cycle Away is based on the nature of dreaming, and what it's like to finally get somewhere to be with your own thoughts. We get our most vivid dreams from REM sleep which usually comes in 90 minute cycles, on and off again. So finally getting to escape from daylight troubles is only one of those cycles away
