Man, I learned a long time ago that even if someone is stupid enough to try and pass with their lane ending, just letting them go is better than trying to “show them they are wrong” which has a high probability of accident. Tailgating the car in front of you, to keep the guy from squeezing in at the road construction...just plain stupid. If the traffic had stopped, you would’ve plowed into them because you were toooo close. There’s nothing wrong with just taking your foot off the fuel pedal for a few seconds. Lost more time than that in the road rage that followed.

Yes he should have. You can see that the truck is deliberately not allowing enough space for the car to go in. Even if he could not see the car (because the truck driver is blind in the left eye or something?) the truck should have left a lot more space. I can see him adjusting his distance even closer to "teach a lesson" to the car's driver. Even worse, there has been a collision and the truck driver refuses to pull over or get out of the car. @@taylorlibby7642 In my opinion, the concept of "sending money to relatives home" was relevant for Russia in the 90s, now times have changed, you can find a decent job in Russia and live without denying yourself anything (and not "burn" your life living in a truck in a foreign country. Many immigrants who left Russia 5-7 and even 15 years ago returned to Russia, some of them have their own channels on KZfaq, where they talk about life in the United States and in Russia and evaluate not in favor of the United States. On another channel, I had a dialogue with an American, I spread information to him about what life is like in Russia now (the cost of real estate, cars, food, what salaries, etc.), he was of course a little shocked, because anti-Russian propaganda in the West creates certain stereotypes about Russia, I will duplicate the previous message - Russia's GDP by PPP is on the 6th place in the world (right after Germany): ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Список_стран_по_ВВП_(ППС) and GDP is on the 12th place, but before the sanctions it was on the 5th place (you should understand that this is a variable indicator). I am from Russia from a small provincial city of Perm (there are street police cameras, you can see the city): www.pddd.perm.ru/obzornie_videokamery, Perm: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gMh3m6igtd3cYKs.html (in fact, my city is not very large, there are many large cities in Russia, such as Krasnodar kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jK9koJWTzs_XfHk.html Kazan kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6d2hLaDz5-um6M.html and many others, there is a city (somewhat similar to the city of Miami in the United States) where some Americans come to relax, this is the resort city of Sochi kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fryVnZh_0bqWc5s.html ) Even if you drive through Moscow, those who remember it in the 90s and see it now is a completely different level: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pqx2gbWbqJbViIU.html Today in the labor market, the salary we have is this: perm.hh.ru/search/vacancy?area=72&clusters=true&enable_snippets=true&only_with_salary=true&salary=65000&from=cluster_compensation&showClusters=true ($300 part-time or light work, and up to $ 2,000 full-time, or business trips, these jobs are often unoccupied, you can find a higher-paying job, and if you work in shifts (a month on a business trip, a month at home) in the Northern regions of Russia, you can earn $ 5,000-6,000, the Manager is also a high salary in any city. ) the prices of products in stores: 5ka.jeanzzz.ru/perm and a major regional retailer, some shopping centers work in Perm around the clock: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kKmlYKec2K3JXZ8.html here are its prices: semya.ru/sale/vremya-nizkikh-tsen/ (In Russia, GMOs are not used in products, so the products have a natural taste, but some bloggers from the United States say that in the United States a lot of products are mainly with the addition of synthetics, so it is difficult to find a natural taste in products, probably from this and mass obesity) The rate of $1=75 rubles, but because of the parity of the purchasing power of the ruble, $100 in Russia 300-400$ product purchases in the United States (for of small taxes, low cost of energy resources, Russia's own raw materials, etc.) is not the same as $100 in the United States (for example, the defense budget of Russia is $ 50 billion, and the Pentagon budget is $730 billion, but by total expenses in total about $120-150 billion is spent on the purchase of equipment and maintenance of the Russian army in rubles, so it is wrong to consider the ruble to the dollar in this case)! So is built and evolves Russia-schools, hospitals, are opening production (information is updated every 24 hours): sdelanounas.ru/blogs/ Secondary education for free, higher education free, if you type a certain evaluation under the end schools (such students majority), and if paid, then have us will from 800 until 1,200$ in year. Medicine is free under the insurance policy (the policy can be obtained once and for life, even if you currently do not work anywhere, the policy is still always valid!), but there are also paid clinics, for example vision correction from 300$ Prices for eye surgery services: perm.3z.ru/price/ dentistry-to put an implant (I recently did myself) the implant itself with the operation costs from 300$ + from 300$ the crown itself on it. @@Harry-zz2oh I can answer this actually, as I wanted to know myself. The lady, 74yrs old, has never driven a vehicle. She was from Boston area where public transit was widely available. The man, 75-ish, drove all his life up until he was involved in a minor rear end collision. He was at fault & just drove off but the victim was able to follow him all the way to his home. Turns out this man had never had a driver's license. He's the type who believes the government should have no say in use of public roads. Not as extreme as a sovereign citizen type, but definitely close to borderline. After the hit & run incident he was told to get a DL or risk jail time if busted driving again. Their son, a very nice guy, took their vehicle when dad refused to give up his right to drive. Usually the community offers a van service for the elderly, taking them to appointments or shopping but will be unavailable this month so I offered to help. Most of the elderly people are quite decent, they are grateful & only get mad when you turn down gas money. This couple was just too shady.

I’m extremely sympathetic to the frustrations and extreme dangers that truckers face, particularly from people who have no understanding of how large these vehicles are and how difficult it is to stop them in an emergency. That said, in the second clip, I have to wonder who really has the road rage. Yes, the small Chevy sedan was a moron for trying to push past the truck in a merging lane. But, you know, sometimes people misjudge the road ahead of them and make mistakes. At a certain point, the sedan was clearly in trouble; he had no place to go. But instead of swallowing his pride and at least attempting to apply his break and let the sedan merge, by all appearances, the truck driver deliberately squeezed the tiny car out and deliberately hit him. The instant karma for the truck driver might be that he damaged his own truck just to make a point. Very minor damage to be sure, and relatively minor damage to the sedan as well, but what if it had been far worse? What if the trucker’s understandable frustration had resulted in injury or death to the people in that sedan, to the truck driver himself, to other vehicles innocently entangled? I don’t see any heroes in that clip.

I love truckers and give them respect on the roads. I occasionally drive a handicap minibus, mostly a handicap minivan, and occasionally the company car to transport elderly residents of a senior community to medical appointments. Recently, on a minivan day on a busy PA highway at a merge point, I kept a large following distance, allowed 2 vehicles to merge, and a third basically cut off my van - ending up halfway on the highway, halfway in the merge lane. This caused merging vehicles to be unable to continue to the end merge point, including a full sized car carrier truck. Car carrier truck was not happy. I let Mr. Cutoff merge. He gets over into the fast lane, Mr. Car Carrier goes up to the end merge point and ends up about 2 cars ahead of Mr. Cutoff. Mr. Car Carrier waits until Mr. Cutoff is near in the fast lane and Mr. Car Carrier goes into the fast lane and does a serious cutoff of Mr. Cutoff. Me - Thank you! Thank you! Laughing because now Mr. Cutoff is behind Mr. Car Carrier, and Mr. Car Carrier is going super slow. I felt he did that somewhat for me, as well as for himself, to show Mr. Cutoff that Mr. Cutoff was really Mr. Jackass.!

From what I can assess about the cause of many accidents and road rage, it's caused by people in the left (fast) lane going slow, or left lane people thinking they are the only ones on the road. I've known people that drive in the left lane because they think it is a smoother ride, ignoring signs all over stating "Slower traffic keep Right". If people would simply move over when someone wants to pass, regardless of you're doing the speed limit....let them pass!

Ticketable offense in Florida now, hanging out in the left lane and holding up traffic. I think it's a $121 fine.

@@hdfxrs9121 Yeah, same in Georgia. The law passed and started in June or July of '17. It basically states: If you're in the left lane and cars want to pass, you must yield and move over, even if you're doing the speed limit or if you're over the speed limit...you must yield. Something else in Georgia (not sure about other states) 18 wheelers can't use the left lane at all unless there is road blockage or the exit is on the left. I am old enough to remember when truckers would be in every lane blocking the highway from the fast lane to the slow lane...kind of like a rolling roadblock. The trucker law has been in effect for several decades now in Georgia.

I hate left lane campers just as much as most people but until each state makes it a law people can drive in whatever lane they want regardless of how other drivers feel. If another driver speeds up on a left lane camper they can pass them on the right just as easy as the left lane camper can move over. Road rage is caused by people with serious anger issues, not left lane campers. I've been brake checked for no reason before so I put cams in both front window and back window so now when they brake check I give them what they want and run into them. I let them rage on about getting hit and let them speak to the officer first then when it's my turn I just show the officer the cam footage. So far this has happened 3 times and all 3 drivers were arrested for falsifying their police report. The last driver tried to claim a neck injury and the EMS was called. When the officer saw my footage and confronted the driver his neck injury mysteriously disappeared lol. It's time for everyone to cam up and fight back against this pathetic nuisance on the roads.

We have highways that transition from one right lane to the left lane of another highway. I think in most cities traffic enters and exits in right lane. Left lanes tend to not have the slow down of that traffic. Once you are out of the city it definitely makes sense for slow traffic to be in right hand lane.

Being a professional driver as well, I have to say that it looks like the trucker often ignores thier responsibility for the road. Just because someone else is being stupid on the road way, doesn't mean you can engage with them. Not letting the car in because you wanna hold your "rightful" position makes you look like the bad truck driver that you are. The guy was being a douche, you don't have to engage with that driver over who's first. We're not children & if you're not mature enough to hold such a position, then find another job.

@@jonathandantonio649 You're wrong. They got exactly what they wanted. With the bonus satisfaction of having annoyed a truck driver. I'm sure it's one of their happiest memories. The woman even took a photo of the halted truck for their trophy room. They wanted to be ahead of the truck. The truck wanted them to stay behind. And after an epic fight where they both displayed excessive pride and almost caused an accident, the car ended up in front of the truck. So why did the truck resist so much the merging if in the end he actually let the car pass? My way of dealing with that kind of hurrying a**holes is to never slow them down. The faster they get away from me the safer I am. And also the faster they go the more chance they have to run out of the road by themselves on the next curve.

@@jonathandantonio649 'Merging properly' means going 1 by 1 close to the last possible moment and using the available lanes, which minimizes backup; not being a worry wart and going single-file a mile ahead of time, which significantly worsens the backup
