Hi friends,
This is a quick side dish recipe, you only need a bunch of spinach or hourensou in Japanese, and 2-3 tablespoons of sesame seeds. Once you learn and remember this recipe, you might want to have it on your table once a week.
For seasoning-
You just need:
Brown sugar- 2-3 tablespoons
* if you don’t like too sweet, just lessen the sugar or alternate it with honey.
1-2 Japanese soy sauce (🙏you really need to get this as the taste will be different if you use other soy sauce)
When you taste this - you should taste the balance of sweetness and the saltiness of this dish. Not too sweet or not too salty.
*You can also use this seasoning for steamed pumpkin or chicken 👍👍👍.
