I can't stress enough how badly Daniel NEEDED this race to just go as smooth as possible for him. Lance has been in an F1 car for SEVEN YEARS and has shown the entire world that he would be better off piloting a 20 hp go kart. Lawrence Stroll knows he's bringing the entire Aston Martin team down by keeping his son in a seat but he obviously doesn't care. Real shame Alonso can't have a proper teammate beside him because his boss is an idiot.

@@Mmmyess Are you sure we watched the same race? Becsuse I'm pretty sure that Piastri's rearwing proves that DR could not do much besides breaking. And even if that weren't the case, they were still approching a slow speed corner, in a Pack with many cars close together under THE SAFTY CAR. So every driver should know that they need to watch the cars infront instead of the apex (which is what Lance was doing, as you can see in the onboards). I think Lance is fast enough but it feels that he simply lacks full focus and discipline. Can easily get bored, loses the rhythm, the flow of the races. He usually makes great starts, moving up places, finds the gaps, reads the situations perfectly - then it's like he loses interest unless he is in the spot.

Man...i have done the same mistake once, i apologized and recognized my fault 100% as i wasn't paying attenion and i admitted it right away and had no pursuit or anything , nobody is perfect we all make mistakes, most important is to acknowledge them, learn and move on

I stand with Danny Ricciardo on this. And it's also not right that HE received a 3 place penalty for the Miami Grand Prix. Sometimes I can't tell when someone is upset but when I saw him in the interview, I could tell.

As if Daniel has never accused anyone in the heat of the moment. His reaction is so childish, and Lance didn't even accuse him in particular. Lance was really neutral in the interview afterwards, not wanting to fuel any misunderstandings and hate towards anyone. Completely opposite in reaction and manners, Daniel should think before saying stuff like this because his fans really attacked Aston fans and Lance on social media calling him every name under the sun.

And he is right. The incident can always happen in such moments but Stroll saying that it is Ric's fault is showing what grade of driver Stroll is. If he would just do a LeClerc "I am Stupid" comment he would have gotten some resepct. Stroll is the new Mazespin
