@@larrymitchell6470 it takes time to invest and seems like the best thing you can do if you have 15 extra to pay for each starter ship get them LTI and packaged. the thing that stinks is it seems they limit ownership LTI and package to 1 purchase per account. so if this iae somehow a new package you have to invest more time till the next combo

Sadly no consistency aside from a few Capital ships. I have seen Limited Quantity ships fluctuate. For example, the BMM never was, but now?? since she became a Capital it could be but then again that could anger the backers. Pioneer, 890J, Idris, and Kraken Variants will be...Privateer Warbond rarely sells out now. Javelin is Limited and only visible to Concierge members. The Polaris was once not limited, then became limited then last sale was not limited. The A2 usually is but I don't think it was last time. The larger commercial ships I do not believe are...like the Endeavor (Which you can buy modularly and then go onto pledge store and but specific addons to it later during IAE, and I don't think the Orion is Hull Limited. @@juanm2507 No problem...A2 has a history of being limited quantity, but who knows.

Difficult to say, it wasn't before and it could be disastrous if they did that now after the insane buff. Mentally plan for it? but if I were CIG I would not do that and make it open to all. Big Capitals they generally limit and last year she wasn't near Capital status.

I'm REALLY curious to see the Caterpillar go modular and I think it may be one of the first as a test bed for it and learn lessons from how it works to refine it for other ships.

Traditionally Capitals are difficult, due to the 890J being flight ready it gets lost in the mix to the Idris, Kraken and Javelin. But to answer your question? Yes...it sells out just not at the warp speed of say the Kraken. I have always seen the 890J as registering as "sold out" as they do limit the hull on sales. Plan accordingly and make time on Origin Day.

That ship has never been quantity limited, and actually you bring up a good point. Would they dare make it quantity limited now with all the buffs? Its not officially a Capital but after CitCon, she's not just a capital but THE capital. I don't see them doing it and I'd hope they would announce a price increase.

When the Alien Ship day occurs, check in the Ship Upgrades. If thats eligible (and it should be, sometimes brand new ships may not have the CCU ready) you can select your 400i then the BMM should be on the next page. Upon checkout you should see an option to use store credit so in that case you would want to have the funds ready My CCUs have been using extra new cash, but that should not matter. I would attempt it without melting ships first to verify the store credit option is there (should be) then see the difference in price (pending they don't surprise raise it again which would be stupid). Once you see the amount then yes, melt your ships to have the credit at the ready, then redo the CCU and checkout then apply the credit. After that you can either elect to hold the CCU and apply it near when the BMM actually releases and you enjoy your 400i until then, OR! you apply the CCU in your Hangar on the site and you lose the 400i and get the Banu Defender and Herc C2 as loaners if the Matrix is still correct. Your Hangar will then show the 400i Icon but if you click the hashmark looking Icon or twirl down the Arrow next to the 400i, you will see the BMM and Lifetime Insurance.

There's a chance it can be, the more I visit Orison the more I can see it occurring. From a performance standpoint I don't think it would be wise as framerates are shredded as is and of course many will want to spawn 890s lol. Could be a very stuttery Expo. Then the frequent entry and exit from Atmo may get old for many as its a long flight lol!
