In this video I give my opinions on what I feel the best bang for your buck on Star Citizen Game Packages are going to be ideal for you considering what you get out of them. This is just my opinion and others will naturally have a different opinion. As per usual though, I always recommend trying a Free Fly to see if you enjoy the game before commuting to a purchase. And also! You can ALWAYS upgrade your package over time if you wish, just don't push it to far on the Starter Package as that is limited on insurance.

Since there are my opinions only that I recommend, what Starter Package did YOU go with? If you had the option to buy an aftermarket artificial heart to live in the verse with...which brand would you go with and why? Would be an interesting addition to Medical.

I joined the 'verse waaay back when. My starter pack (which I still have in the original) was a Freelancer DUR.

I chose the "Scout" package from the kickstarter. I have CCU'd it to a Cutty Black.

Of course, any ship which lacks a game package can be gotten via CCU... so there's (functionally) a game package available for any ship over $45.

Last year during IAE I picked up a Nomad with LTI that included SC and SQ42. I figured it might be rare to get a game bundle package with an LTI token ship all in one hangar entry!

I had store credit and picked it up for this video...the base ship of course. I saw its value RAPIDLY and think its a fantastic all-around ship for starting then use it to earn credits to get say an Arrow in game or a Sabre, etc.

In my experience, buy the very most basic starter package and buy everything else in-game. Nothing is more satisfying than earning your next ship having played the missions, hunted bounties, mined rocks and traded drugs to get you a bigger, better ship. It validates gameplay and gives you something to aim for as you save up your credits. But if you got cash to burn, then buy all means... treat yourself xD

I upgrade my 100i to 135 and I love this ship, its small, fast and easy to access. I also love the Nomad, I used it a lot in the PTU and its my next target ship in LIVE, this and the 325. Then its the Prospector for space mining. I also plan to get the ROC but could not decided which ship to carry it around. I don’t plan getting any of the big ships because I usually play solo and I suck at squeezing those things into the hangar. Of course this plan might change considering what will be up at the expo 🤷🏽‍♂️ The Starlifter, Taurus and Andromeda all destroyed because my ineptness 😞 with full cargo 😭

Agree, the 100 series is so nice and I love my 135. The Nomad I just used credit for the video but umm...I still have it as it has lots of early on potential.

I'm a crazy person so my Starter Package was a Reliant Kore, back when that was still a thing. I can't for the life of me imagine why they no longer sell it as a package for new players.......

The Nomad is a pickup truck with a bachelor pad. Why bachelor? There's only one bed, and no shower. Also, I agree on the Penguin Titan. I mean Avenger. It's handy starter ship with a solid combination of cargo space, fighter capability and a bed that lets new players try out a lot of the in-game basics. And the Cutty is nice, but it really does come with the caviat of "but it's better with a friend/extra person".

I grabbed an Aurora LN back in 2013. It works ok for me but I will likely upgrade it to an arrow or something. Great video Gipsy! Did you see my first video that i uploaded?

its hard but i have lots of ships and all are LTI and 1 or 2 10 year and every one of them are packaged as CR said if you have more than 1 package you get dedicated NPCs so i will have a lot of NPCs dedicated to me

135 has a permanent place in my fleet, its fun to fly and 8 SCU as a starter is great. Not to mention my planetary life boat if near a Platinum Bay!

I went Nomad, but mainly cos I wanted my starter ship to also be an endgame ship. Put it in a larger ships hangar and use it as a light rover shuttle, sparing the mothership from have to waste cargo space on the rover, or to avoid the mothership having to land itself to deploy a small team.
