My first video of yours was the hotas joystick comparison when you only had 5 subs. It made me skip Logitech etc and go right to VKB from the get to and I'm waiting for my NXT Premium and Stecs throttle to arrive! Keep up the great videos! I'm just getting into to Sim flying but I have wanted to for years. I'm going to take a look at star citizen as well on the next free fly event

Believe it or not Star citizen is optimized so bad that I find doubling my RAM on a page file stops memory leaks and stutters in the game. I noticed this helped a lot when I had 32gigs of RAM and made a 64gb page file. Now I have 64gigs of RAM and a 128gig page file. Here I haven't noticed much of a difference. Keep in mind I have seen this game use 52gigs of RAM now that I use 64. So yes 32gigs is not enough for Star citizen for all areas of the game! Keep in mind I would never do this for any other game haha. But it works for SC. Doubling your page file from your RAM size will stop stutters in the game. Test it and see for yourself.

Excellent review and very informative, consumer-centric. Hardly anyone talks about things like desk space and the importance of the base plates if you're not rigging up to a home cockpit.

Beyond just SC I love gaming when I can so been hitting my retro games lately and saw this piece of gaming VHS history and decided to get it digitized for others who enjoy this type of stuff to see Nintendo in its glory days. You are wrong on several things. First you can't Spawn ships on pads. Second medical beds are not Spawn beds. They act like that currently but will not in the future. Third the information you say on the Krakens Shield are based on old Shield tech that wrapped around hulls. As shields are now bubbles and have been for several years this information is outdated.

You can only load ships on it that you own and that you intend to carry, and only while at a port of some type.. You can't just spawn your ships from it whenever you want... Thankfully lol.. That would kill fleet combat if it could unleash an endless wave of vessels at enemies lol Great video!

Any ship like the Ares needs to be multi-crew and have several positions required to fire that big gun. Also I wonder what disadvantages of having a much smaller than required cooler, small computer, small ammo load out space. Remember this kind of gun normally requires a much larger ship to support. It should have things like fire rate and heat buildup severely compromised. Ever try to power a large motor with a small battery. It hardly moves. Same principle for this ship. I think the gun should be more like a size 5 or 6 max, maybe a 7 with 80% penalty to all stats because of the platform and supporting equipment. Except for damage. Yes if you walk upto a cannon and it fires you will be obliterated. But cannons are easy to see, hard to move, and harder to target with unless its a slow moving target that can't react. A fighter getting behind that ship and killing it should be easy. The only ships that should fear it are the ones too slow to maneuver from its targeting and kill time. This ship requires a larger tank ship as the main target. Thank You for the Content

Yeah I came here because I have an I7 12700K 32 gigs ram and a Radeon 6900xt and my game has been crashing alot lately. Didn't do this much in the beginning 😕. I've got a pretty decent setup. However really enjoyed the production of this video !
