Is he fr that underrated by people? I thought it was just known that he's one of the best mid laners/players in the world. I mean someone could watch 1 game of him at top of KR ladder and see. You can always hate on someone but his gameplay undeniable. 🚫🎓🍻

@@hitlast1Nemesis has always been good (exept against Caps) but otherwise always been good and is still one of the best mids, but its hard to find legit job after one of the most well known and biggest esports orgs around the world black lists you (FNATIC), then you get black listed from LEC one of the 3 major region cause lets be real, nemesis doesnt want to ruin his reputation by going NA, he would lose all his credibility. Its good that he grinds in Korea, maybe at some point some LEC team would pick him up if he choses so also. Would like to see Neme in a pro level again, at least he has standards by not wanting to go to NA at any point.

Since you're going to read these comments, Nemesis, I would like to thank you for streaming so much back when you were in FNC. I was going through a very tough period in my life and ended up tuning in a lot. Even though the times weren't the best for you, personally, with all the crap happening behind the scenes, you've helped me pull through my own rough patch. There you go, since you apparently value being an entertainer - I am grateful! Best of luck in the off-season or in whatever you decide to do.

i think there is a phenomenon where a rational thinking approach where you analyse things without letting emotions get in the way can be misrepresented as being cold or mean or even toxic. i think this misrepresentation happens very often with the things nemesis says, to the point that the misrepresentation itself has become the mainstream view of him

idk i heavily follow people who strive in more than 1 genre on higest level over 5-10years...grubby, lifecoach, even a PSALM have all a same different mindset--and they transition genres and again become toplevel. but nemesis to ME AFTER watching those genre-breakingly succesful gamers reflect--i feel nemesis is the most EMOTIONALLY affected and caught " talent" that has no selfdiscipline.

I’d day it is more about the way he delivers the message he wants to say more so than what the message is. People only ever care about being validated and respected, it is what gives any of leagues competition any value for nearly all of people. The social status that comes with it that is.

I feel like he absolutely adopted the tone he felt was suitable to the interviewee. And I am impressed that Ruddy has this side to him as well. When he showed up recently, I think what people liked a lot of course was his sense of humor. And then we saw more of these deep dives with a little less humor and more seriousness. This one for sure went into even more serious things, but only because it felt necessary. Ruddy understands what people are wondering about Nemesis, the what if. He sounds like someone who has been hurt very deeply in the past and has put up the biggest wall between himself and the world so that he cannot get hurt anymore. He just accepts that the world is full of people who are always going to dislike and hurt him and that it will never change. It's sad, but also interesting to see this side of him. Thanks Ruddy for bringing out this side of him, and for asking questions that are potentially awkward for both the asker and the receiver. You are a great interviewer.

Yeah, perhaps that's true for dealing with randos online but that's not good for dealing with people you are working with. Discussing with people who disagree with you and the willingness to adapt your viewpoints is how you grow as a person. He's basically saying that if it's not exactly the way he likes it then he doesn't want it at all. He holds himself as the arbiter of truth. He says that he has plenty of happy moments but he can barely think of one and it ended up being pretty obscure. All pretty unhealthy mindsets to have. I like nemesis as a player and I agree with his self assessment of his talent. I hope he can moderate his mindset because it's really not good for his mental health.

Being stoic was touted as a healthy and manly thing but the reality is that it's not actually healthy - it's isolating for the self and alienating for others the same way that being aggressive is. @@aeroshv23 You don't get the point do you? He won't join a team just for the sake of joining some team. Look at Jankos when he joined Heretics, it was a disaster bc of his teammates. The Jankos situation is a bit different bc he's at the end stage of his career, he has a good reputation and luckily he gets decent players in his team next season. Nemesis has nothing go on for him bc of the narrative that has been built against him. There's no point of joining a team and be stuck in a contract loop when you can stream, go to korea and get better.

@@somnus4532I feel like you dont get the point. Jankos is a good example. Look at what happned to him with Heretics, he had shit team mates but he performed out of his mind and everyone agrees that Jankos is still one of the best and Jankos gets much better team mates this year. Another example is Brokenblade. He was in Schalke who was last place btw and got picked up by G2 because he still did well eventhough the team was shit. All Nemesis has to do is join a team and perform well. Then he will get a team that's good and he will be able to change the narrative about him. Every good play has played in a some shit team before. If you dontt put yourself out there you will not end up getting any chances.

@@aeroshv23 I don't know whether you will understand this example or not but here are my two cents. Imagine if a programmer has an option to either work with a small company, do irrelevant projects that doesn't really put much of an impact on his resume OR to do independent projects, learn new programming languages + do other projects that showcase his talents that are needed in bigger companies. What do you think the programmer would choose? He'd go for the latter bc it makes sense. Going to KR and being in the top 10 consistently, tbf he is in the top 5 when he tries shows how good he is than other mids in EU.

@@somnus4532 yes he's doing well in Korea but what he is doing in Korea isn't really comparable to learning a new programming language is it? Also a programmer isn't playing in a 5 man team. He says he wants a good team to play in but he's kind of waiting around for this team to magically appear. I dont know if you remember but 2019 G2 wasn't assembled overnight. They had Perkz, then they picked up Wunder and Jankos, another year later they got Caps and Miky. This was like 2 or 3 year long process to find the right parts. My point is at some point he needs to join a team if he actually plans on competing. If you dont get it we are going to have to agree to disagree.

1:07:23 it’s impossible for a bad player or good player to not be recognized by someone who is good because the good players are always looking for signs, basically litmus testing their peers to gauge their level at all times.

Nemesis doesn’t need the praise of the public because it doesn’t mean anything to him. These people don’t even know what they’re praising from for other than maybe lifting a trophy. So when he says “other good players will know” he’s saying he only wants the praise or respect from those he considers his peers or greater than him.

My friends who are lower rank or have less understanding of the game than me have admitted that they have anxiety when they play with me because they essentially cannot hide their mistakes. They’re always being seen and in a way judged by me because they understand that I do know more about this game than they do.

@@ChoiceGG Reality is most "Fans" are lemmings. They play the game and make conclusions based on what they are told by talking heads and then they reshuffle all their opinions based on who wins or who lifts the glowy thing at the end. Which is why people suddenly thought that DRX were the best because they won worlds and rewrote the entirety of the 2022 season to make it so that DRX were actually good. You should only want praise of those who are comparable or maybe even slightly better than you. rRandoms in any situation are not worth the time half the time because ultimately if you started losing - those people are going to call you trash regardless of how you play.

Hope to see him back so that he can show that's it's not just ego speaking. Have more trust in him doing so than in Gillius showing he's better than Jankos, but still saying he's going to be significantly better than Larssen and Humanoid off the bat does set a high bar for the return whenever it may happen

Nemesis needs to get a good team with non proplayers that could do good in pro like dzukill and agurin, and play in contenders league or something, it would be fun to see and i also think they would enjoy it a lot

Love Neme. However I wanna ask WHERE is Hyli? Why isn't there any interview with the most fun to watch in the LEC - Hyli Baba? LEC would be so boring in the bot lane without Hyli. Check who was the most expensive player in the Caps's Dream team! Look what Upset and so many other players had said about Hyli! The most fun video with commnents about Hyli was of Wunder telling how Hyli stayed in the back lane bush for 2 min just to gank him and kill him with Yuumi in scrims.
