My closest friend of 10 years randomly stopped talking to me about a month ago and it's been basically the worst thing ever. I don't even know why, we didn't even have a fight, he's not dead or in hospital. Just 10 years of friendship, talking nearly every day, hanging out at least once a week for that entire time and then... nothing.

I actually think LS did the right decision with c9, Nemesis as a friend should understand that it was his only opportunity to show his talent as a coach, literally a once in a lifetime opportunity. I get that he could feel abandoned in a foreign country when he didn't went to NA, but still, it was the chance to shut mouths and do what was needed. Too bad c9 decided that wasn't what they wanted and then this just ended with LS not only ending his relationship but also not coaching anymore.

And like nemesis not saying anything about it just makes it worse, they were always so fun to watch when nemesis played and ls was just there "coaching" more like entertaining chat and making neme play katarina and shit like that. I can just hope that they will resolve this somehow, and maybe from time to time we get thoose streams/league talks again, cause ls genuenly seems like he regrets w/e happened.

Expectation is the root of all heartache
@mranderson2048
@mranderson2048 Жыл бұрын
It probably is, but how does one function without expectation? In fact, expectation is a hard-coded feature in humans. For example, you always expect that the floor is gonna bear your weight. You always expect things to work as they should. If you didn't, your mind would explode. That's why uncertainty is a powerful tool for "mind control". Example: YT guidelines are vague by design, leading people to "walk on egg shells" while giving YT the ultimate power. Humans aren't just pure objects, of course. That's why communication is a high prio in any form of relationship, no?

@@mranderson2048 I agree with the communication point, and I hate how difficult it actually is, LS was talking here like how there were misunderstandings and stuff with Nemesis and I'm just saying in my head "you should just talk" or "you should've just talked" and then I'm the same where I can't actually talk with others about stuff for some reason, so strange. honestly I understand where nemesis came from, LS mention some time ago how their fight boil down to LS calling nemesis a coward for not taking the chance to go to C9 and some more worst stuff. If I was nemesis, I wouldn't wanna reach out to LS at all cause not only did I take a risk by moving to korea with him, he also took the risk of refusing other EU offers probably under LS advice. Not to mention LS has plenty of people stating that living under LS roof is like peak stress, their former Academy junglers went over it in one of their streams (Malice) where LS basically threaten him to either do everything LS said or be homeless. LS probably doing a lot better now, but it honestly sound like LS is very likely to blow up at you over small things and threaten you, I really wouldn't want to keep that kind of company around.

Do you not equate some of the “friendships “ as transactional because you are still semi a coach and people may think that living with you will give them knowledge to play better and what not but doesn’t that also mean that they should pay you for lessons. They also may come into it thinking in 1 year they’ll be a pro or on a semi pro team without ever realizing or understanding that you aren’t actually allowing them to live with you because of that but for them to work on themselves. A theory that’s all but sound like it has some merit of truth not for nemesis

The only reason they got to finals and won is because of Berserker gigasmurfing LCS. The only reason Berserker went to NA is because of LS convincing Joe Marsh to send him with LS when they were originally going to send him to LPL. LS wanted to create a system where instead of relying on stomping the enemy with mechanics, you outsmart them. Because internationally NA does not have the hands to 1v1 international players. Berserker is by far the best adc in LCS this split. In T1 he was the 2nd sub… It’s not possible in a logical perspective for NA to win worlds with the current system and hence he wanted to change it.

Buddy we are talking about human being. Barking isn’t talking, people should be able to communicate and resolve conflict or come to understanding despite not having agreement of the outcome. What you see in LS can be right, however comparing him to animal while others are "normal" human is wrong.
