There is a REASON why the court ordered SOLE CUSTODY to the mother, and only ONE DAY A WEEK OF SUPERVISED VISITATION to the Dad. He abused those boys and REFUSED to co-parent and allow shared custody until custody issues could be settled. He spent EVERY dime (a substantial amount of money) those boys generated for him on social media. And yes, he bought their love with toys and gifts so they wouldn't talk about their Mom (and were chastised if they accidently said Mommy on camera), but didn't have a dime left to hire an attorney to go to court with him. He did NOT go "bankrupt fighting their Mom for custody" as he has lied and claimed - he snorted it up his nose and living the "high life!!" He failed court ordered drug test and got EXACTLY what he deserved..........NOTHING!!!! Those boys are now safe with their Mom......which is where they should be.

Ask him why he didn't want people to know that their mother was in their lives, and why he refused to co-parent with their mother? He did NOT have custody of the boys. He put their Mom out of the house one night when they were about a year and a half old and would not let her see them all because she wanted to go back to work. He wanted to try to monetize the boys by putting them on social media. He did that, but they were never allowed to mention their Mom because he wanted people to think she was either dead or left them because she didn't want them, neither of which was true and that he was raising them as a "single dad." She took him to court in August of 2022 and was awarded joint custody of the boys until a resolution could be determined by the courts, but he CONTINUED to keep them away from her. The boys were made to do staged videos and you could clearly see they were afraid of making a mistake or saying the wrong thing. They were always getting hurt and he ALWAYS just happened to have his camera rolling EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! Those "accidents" were staged too.........child abuse at its finest. He did this because it increased the views and got him more money. But, he lived the high life off the money those boys generated, big trips, cars, etc. and sniffing it up his nose. When it came time to go to court, he had NO MONEY to even pay an attorney since he had fired all the previous attorneys he had because they would not go along with his BS lies about their Mom. She DID fight for her boys and got SOLE CUSTODY of them, and he got ONE DAY A WEEK OF SUPERVISED VISITATION. He needs drug rehab and needs to get a job and stop begging for money from the "cyber Aunties." He got exactly what he deserved, which was NOTHING!!

Those boys are much better off with their Mom. They no longer have to worry about getting in trouble for saying the wrong thing and have ALWAYS loved and missed their Mom. They always struggled to "please" their dad, but were NOT treated as they should have been. Believe me, they are much happier with their mother and are leading the normal lives that 6 year old boys should be.

He was NOT so good to them. They were afraid of him and he used them as his sole support. There is a valid reason why he gets only one hour of SUPERVISED visitation a week, These boys are now with their mother whom he tried to keep them away from and are getting the love and nurturing they so deserve.

This man is a con artist, fooling those who don't know any better. The things that he "claims" the teachers told him were proven by investigators and court appointed attorney for those boys to be lies. Also, the claims of those children being left alone and abused were also proven to be lies. All intended to discredit the mother, but all false claims. He's had lawyers, but they all quit because he refused to listen to them. Wasted money because he thought he was smarter than they were. He made money based on the boys videos, but spent it all living beyond his means and has NOTHING left to pay for more attorneys. He was instructed by the courts to share custody with their Mom until custody issues could be sorted out, but he continued to keep those boys away from her by refusing to release the boys to her on her weekends. HE was the one mentally abusing (and physically by instructing them to "accidently" fall and get hurt so he could film them comforting each other) to get more views and likes. This info was provided by his own sons. So, these are just some of the reasons why their Mom was granted SOLE CUSTODY of the boys and he was awarded ONE DAY A WEEK, ONE HOUR A WEEK of SUPERVISED VISITATION. Plus, dude keeps failing his drug screens. He needs rehab, he needs to stop lying to the public to gain sympathy and ne needs to stop begging for MONEY. He is using this money to live off of now that he doesn't have his sons generating money for him........he needs to get a job. He gives those black men who are truly fighting the fight for their children a bad name!!!

If he had obeyed court orders by allowing the Mom to have shared custody until a permanent resolution could be determined, maybe things would have turned out differently. Instead, he continued to keep the boys from her, refused to take their videos down from ALL social media platforms (also ordered by the court but his only source of income), and continued to fail drug screens. THIS is why their Mother was awarded SOLE CUSTODY, and he has only one day a week, and one hour a week of SUPERVISED VISITATION. He brought all this upon himself. Those boys are safe and much better off with their Mom and living a normal life the way 6 year old children should.

He already has a lawyer and has lodged an appeal.

@@mclaytor6926 - He’s appealed the decision and a hearing is scheduled for September. So, the case has been reopened. (Maryland Court records are public and available online). Hopefully it won’t be successful.

Those boys are extremely intelligent and are fine now. They are no longer living in fear of getting in trouble if they said the wrong thing. It was all about the money for him. I'm sure he loves them, but he loved the money more. Now these babies can live a normal life with their Mom.

They were living together but he put her out one night because she told him she wanted to go back to work when they were about a year and a half. This man has no other means of support except what the boys generated for him, so that is why he keeps asking for donations. “World’s greatest dad ever”? That sounds like a statement made by someone who has only heard one side of the story. Why then after a three and a half year custody case was the twins’ mother granted sole custody? Mr Hurtt was granted weekly SUPERVISED visitation. While not rare, it is unusual for visitations to be supervised.

That's not my business with him and their I'm talking on the way that man dedicated his life to those boys how he takes care of them the loving and caring father he is Just leave me with my option and do yours I'm quite sure right now that the life those two boys have with their dad they are not getting it from their mom ok ...scram...

The point I was trying to make was that supervised parental visitations are generally only ordered by the court if it considers that children are not safe with that parent. None of us really know what the real story is just by watching some videos, many of which were heavily edited.

He lost custody of those boys, as well he should have. Their Mom was awarded SOLE CUSTODY of them, and he gets one day a week of SUPERVISED VISITATION. He was abusive, refused to co-parent and share custody of the boys, as well as failing court ordered drug tests. By God's grace they are with their Mom and brothers and will be able to live a normal life instead of doing the staged videos their dad made them do.

Exactly this! Don't understand how people buy into him. The staged/forced videos with the boys and they often looked scared.

Nobody made him the primary parent. He's been making decisions and doing things without considering the mother at all. He's been treating her as if she's irrelevant, that she's a danger to her children, that she's unfit, that she abandoned her children and that she doesn't even exist. The mother has been exemplary in dealing with him by keeping a cool head and allowing the court to handle the situation. Crying about being mistreated and how "they" took his boys from him is comical, after all the pain he's put the mother through while he's been trying to take the boys from her.

Keeping them away from their Mom is wrong on every level! That is not healthy for the children. The judge ruled in the best interest of the children so if he was such a great Dad and she was so terrible as he tried to portray she would not have got custody!
