Heyo, you gotta be in a country that supports Etsy. You might want to try open a company in a different country and act as that entity that way but I am not sure if this is going to work.

The Queen Image is for the band "Queen" The Dragon and griffin are part of Queen's design. I even think it was designed by Freddy Mercury ( could be wrong) My point? Change it all you want ... Its not "Queen" 🙈

On the store I have I am selling watercolor portraits from photos, so far no sales. I was wondering if would be better to include POD from AI in same store or open another store just for that POD. So I am trying to understand if this is a viable model for those of us located outside the US (I am personally in Turkey). You can do it from any country that allows international sales. For example I am in Poland right now and I was able to open an account on Etsy and printfy and sale in USA

I have a few questions. I plan to start with probably digital products, but eventually i would maybe like to do apparel, and possibly even put in my own physical oil paintings at some point as I'm an artist. My question is, is it better to make a store for each specific thing so its not so all over the place or is it fine to have all said products in the same store?

Thanks for this video! very informative. The only thing I still don't understand is the Printify price and cost structure. If you add prod and ship costs in your example it is 14$. Your price is 15.4. This is barely 10% profit before Etsy cut. Can you help on this part?

I just started my Etsy shopping lo and behold I sold three T-shirts to one customer. It put them above the $35 threshold for free shipping and I ended up having to eat shipping cost. You definitely want to make sure your prices can withstand that free shipping. On three t-shirts my whole profit is going to be $2. It's $2 I didn't have so I can live with that however if I had simply made sure that I had priced my products a little bit higher I would have made a higher profit. The standard 40% that they set you up with is not enough. If anyone's wondering I'm using monster digital and I'm doing my T-shirts on the Gildan heavyweight 100% cotton.

It's a pretty clear problem. I'm always amazed when I see pictures that clearly show people whose image rights are being violated. Or even pictures of prominent buildings that you are not allowed to use for a commercial purpose without a fee, and some other basically copyright violations. In the worst case, the rights holders could soon come up with the idea of suing the successful commercial users for damages. As a photographer who is learning the ropes of graphic AI, I have started to use only images that I own the rights to. I photograph or create images, graphics and also 3d models myself and use them to train my own AI models. This is very time-consuming and finding a workflow that produces good results is especially time-consuming, but in the end this approach has the advantage that the AI art images have their own character. These images are at least originals whose style, moreover, is also not easy to imitate without the transposed models, even if you have the prompts.

While this is true in this instance it doesn't invalidate the knowledge he is trying to impart.

@@BaneWilliams True, but it is also a good example of why you need to properly research why an item is selling before trying to replicate it. In this instance, if you were to make a similar 'Queen' shirt, you could run into trademark issues and get your store banned. If you make a variation on the item and do 'King', or 'Princess', then you will not be attracting any of the buyers that are interested in the Queen item because they're interested in the band, not the word queen in the generic sense.
