Loved seeing your plants, I’ve definitely fallen in love with houseplants recently as well it brings so much joy! I wanted to say for the elephant ear it could be humidity or the soil, I know Alocasias need a special soil blend. I had an elephant ear and a dwarf one, I killed the large one but managed to save the dwarf one, the soil made such a difference! I did half houseplant soil, half cactus soil mixed with orchid bark I found on Amazon. Good luck girl ❤️💕

I notice you have a cat. Does he/she bother the plants? I just got a kitten and we put our beautiful Lily plant in another room because he was getting into the soil. I'm hoping once he gets older he might chill out. We also bought cat mats we can put into the plant soil so the kitty wont try to dig

Keep some of your pothos propogation cuttings in water. Whenever you want to propogate something else in water, stick it in there with the pothos cutting in water. For some reason, something in the pothos roots really helps other plant cutting create water roots much faster.

If you decide its humidity you could pull it from the basket and set her on a tray of pebbles (I have even used Glass baking dishes in a pinch) & keep a little water in the tray to add the humidity just around that plant. Best of luck with your plant babies.

Don't worry about your Jade Plant succulent. It doesn't have scale! It's just minerals from tap water. You can wipe them off or just leave them (it's little salts that come out trough the leaves.) It doesn't harm the plant so sometimes I leave ours and some times I wipe them off. It's called a jade tree and with plenty of light and water will grow really fast!! 😊

Very nice plant collection! Alocasias are very sensitive to fertilizer and it can cause outer leaf burning. Also, it could be the harshness of the water that can cause outer edge yellowing/burning. If you're using tap water, try filtered. If you are using filtered, try distilled. It may help. Also my dracena jade jewel really took off when I put it in a south facing window where it gets a few hours of direct sun light. It didn't take long and the leaves got much wider!!! I thought it was a slow grower too until I put it in that window sill! Good luck!

Your Dracaena might have been moved to a pot that was too large so it is concentrating on growing more roots to fill up all the excess space. When that is done, you will start seeing growth. Be patient, he will grow soon!

Beautiful plants! You're doing a great job with them! That Pilea peperomioides is just gorgeous! I think the dry leaf edges on the Alocasia may be due to low humidity. Or maybe you're letting the soil dry out just a little too much between waterings. All species in the Sansevieria genus are definitely succulents. The white dots on the Crassula ovata are not scale insects. They're just excess minerals. It's quite normal. Mine have that too even though I water them with filtered water.

Great video, i am also totally into plants. The best and easiest way to provide humidity for your plants is to just spray them every day with distilled or rain water. I also have quite a few exotic plants and they all love humid conditions.😀 when you repot your plants it would be good to mix your new soil with about 10% perlite to provide enough drainage. Your plants look great.

Fluoride in the water can effect the plants in a negative way like browning. Also look into banana peels as a great way to fertilize and keep pests away. Sending my love from Costa Rica, love you Pura Vida ❤ 🌴

Yes bananas peels are a great fertilizer for the plants. They attracted fruit flies even though the peels are buried into the soil. I still use them in a different way. I add them to small compost with my worms in two days I can use it no fruit flies.
