Well we had the Big Ham Party last night, following Allison's basics with over 20 people, who of course brought all kinds of additional goodies. The NY Sour made it about half way through the party, after which the mob drank everything in sight. The 12 pound ham still has at least four pounds remaining, perfect for Christmas Day during a blizzard. Huge Thanks! We'll do this again

this might be my fav home movie of all time, which is saying a lot bc i love them all. my husband looked over at me multiple times and asked what i was smiling/giggling at, and it was YOU Alison! and your ham party! the music really took this video to the next level, especially the line at the end "light meat, dark meat, it's all the saaame" i died. my mind is also blown by this giant red wine ice float, what? that's brilliance. i also appreciated the snippet where your shirt has completely busted open, what happened there!? lots of gems in this video, thanks for making my tuesday morning much more fun.

I’ve always admired Martha Stewart I think because she kind of represents someone who is an elegant host and knows all the intricacies of hosting. Since I saw this 3 weeks past. I've been having dreams about my own "Ham Party". My Apartment is senior living(small) so no where near as big as Alison's. I can seat 10. Honestly Alison I'm veggie but I will watch you cook anything! I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was yesterday when the newsletter arrived announcing the Ham Party!! I ran out to get the best, most luxe ham I could find, brought it home and waited for this day and you did not disappoint. One thing I was very happy to see today was the choice of small rolls because those were not on the paper plate blueprint featured yesterday. The gorgeous punch was an added bonus and I always keep Makers Mark on hand so I am now ready to get busy. Wickles are some of my favorite pickles that I highly recommend, so I added those to the buffet list with everything else. Thank you so much Alison for this terrific video and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!! (Your ham cut like buttah, hope mine does, too!)
