“Bon” Scott's grave is in the Garden of Remembrance at Fremantle cemetery. It can be accessed from Carrington street by passing through the Bon Scott Memorial Entrance ( clickable video link 0:00 ) a cast-iron gate incorporating the star of St Andrew and the AC/DC lightning flash. It is listed with the National Trust of Australia as a historic site and is one of the most frequently visited sites at Fremantle cemetery
Beginning at the Bon Scott memorial entrance gate, I did a self-guided walk using the free Fremantle Cemetery Heritage map. Because i kept wandering away from the well sign - posted trail I didn't see all of the suggested historical grave sites of some fascinating characters. However i still got a really interesting history lesson in this quiet and peaceful place.
