Thanks for the video... I don't want Disney anywhere near the gamer space... Disney thinks SW fans are dedicated when it comes to the films, comics, and books... Just wait till they start messing around with KotR, and the gamers would be livid... Even SWTOR fans would be up in arms... Right now, Disney is incapable of not messing around with canon and changing everything... They are currently incapable of doing it right in a way that would not be controversial to general SW fans and definitely not KotR universe game fans... I'm at a point where I'm starting to believe that Disney is just Trolling us now... Like they are just being purposefully vindictive because SW fans are not liking their take on it... And when Leslie says all this stuff, its just to poke the bear... And IGN is just riding the click bait wave of all the controversy...

This will never happen. Acolyte has been a disaster and they are removing her from everything and nixing season 2 of Acolyte. I'm not worried about this news. Leslye will be gone and never at risk of touching KotOR.

The only way a KOTOR series would work is if the showrunner is NOT hired due to political leanings or being an activist for LGBTQ+ rights, which means it'll be just as bad(or worse) than the acolyte

Hey there, most of the problem is you call yourselves "fans" so they treat you as a "fan". In Disneys mind fans are less than. I have been into Star Wars since 1977 not once have a called myself a fan. I am a customer and will always be one. When you demand your bad steak is replaced at "outback". They will because you are a customer not a fan. Remember customers have spent money.

honestly I feel like the High Republic had and has so much potential for it but unfortunately it was a missed opportunity because it was made by *the wrong people with the worst intentions possible* so what's the difference? they'll just do the same thing with the Old Republic like they did with the High Republic and Disney Star Wars in general

Never did like KOTOR - their interpretation of the Force, especially the silliness regarding 'Grey Knights', totally disconnects from what George Lucas established. Not really concerned if Leslye gets her freaky little mitts on it, I don't consider KOTOR canon anyways.

Sooooo, you do realize KOTOR had the first playable lgbt storyline with their dynamic dialogue? If you choose the right gender and make the right choices, you can have same sex romance plot points with your party and unlock different storylines. This is one of the elements that made the game beloved and groundbreaking and it was so special bc not only had it never been seen before but like everything else in the game, it wasnt something they promoted or touted or tried to pander to a specific demographic, it was just something special you could discover along the way, usually on a second or third playthrough. Leslie hyland is a bad writer, but you’re an even worse critic. Let that sink in.

Your explanation of Kreia is garbage. Here is the actual explanation; Kreia was a Jedi Master who fell to the Dark Side. Took on two apprentices that betrayed her and exiled her. Kreia was then drawn to the Jedi Exile and becomes somewhat of a mentor figure that gives a “broader” look at the ideas of good and evil. And no, KOTOR 1 does not play into the Jedi being a force for good. You really didn’t understand the game that you played. Impressive how badly you screwed that up.
