True, silver is very underrated imo. Ppl seem to have given respect to David stern more after he became the late David stern, but I think that if silver was much stricter on Ja that he would have more appreciation. I think he does a great job n think he’s gonna do better the more he learns how to navigate the times rn. It’s easier to be a better commissioner without Kobe, shaq, ai, David Robinson, so many other greats, and the goat while dealing with tv screens being improved vs trying to figure out how ppl now consume sports in many different ways. He’s got a tough job fasho, bet he gets paid what he deserves cause this ain’t easy work, so much weight on his position man. Shoutout to Adam Silver, and to JJ.

Swift, decisive action that looked obvious in hindsight but very difficult to make at the time. Ahhhh Donald Sterling…before I address that it is a good move to have Adam Silver now truth be told Donald Sterling is an example of the lack of equity in the NBA. Donald Sterling was always a scumbag racist and the league knew that for decades and did nothing but allowed his offense and marketed his garbage organization. His sleazy side chick is the hero because once she aired him out the league had no choice but to play hero as if they were against him. He has a record that is undeniable and David Stern knew very well about his cases of discrimination and his inappropriate behavior. Where on earth was the ADL with action plans for the hateful Donald Sterling. I forget the clowns name who owned the Sun’s it was the same thing he was foul for years but once his partner said he’d sell his part of the team if he stays then ahhh this guy has to go.

Adam gets a tough rap because hes been comissioner during a large player empowerment era. More protection of its players , a huge increase of pay, players getting into more and more political discussions the list goes on and all these things have accumulated to create more drama around the NBA so more people watching but the quality of the game itself has dissapated. The draft is rigged and hidden behind closed doors to be manipulated. The refs have got worse and most of the players are more interested in money rather than titles. The players have become rather spoiled and he has to deal with that as well as keeping owners relativly happy. Its a thankless job.

The problem wasn’t that Sterling was racist, the problem was that he was a racist owner with black employees. How can u have so much hate in your heart but yet have the audacity to smile and laugh and joke and employ somebody that u hate? It’s a moral contradiction, are u really this slow or it’s an act?? Bruh, it’s cause and effect. Get mad at the people who started racism and maybe just maybe it wouldn’t exist

Why haven't they excluded the owner from the New York Knicks so quickly then since we all know the New York Knicks ain't going to be nothing unless they get a new owner because nobody even likes that owner

u can't take away a team just because you don't like what they are doing on the court.. Sterling's case is different because there is potential legal ramifications.. plus the owners are the one that have the power to take away a team from an owner.. not Silver..

I dont think he was looking for credit and praise. He was more so trying to dispel the idea that he was pressured into forcing Sterling out. A subtle but measurable difference.

The league's silence on the genocide of Palestinians or their silence on the people of Hong Kong resisting against their government is as deafening as their words. The truth is not what they do tell, the truth is what they DON'T tell you

JJ is a shitty interviewer, would never ask a real question that could make the commissioner squirm... and its you that are stupid because they can have such a lame interview where they dont address anything real and dopes like you will defend it. My mistake, nobody is as stupid as you thats for sure
