General Fuller’s comments were very disturbing - WHY is IHOPKC so resistant to working with Boz et al and the advocate group to find a mutually agreed upon third party to do the investigation? Saying he plans to proceed WITHOUT the three Jane Doe’s who made the allegations being willing to work with the lawyers IHOPKC chose (as they should not) - what in the world is he investigating???? How can they possibly come to the truth of the matter without working with the Jane Does???!!! I hope he has the humility and wisdom to reverse course. It has gone from bad to even worse.

What bothers me is that parents are still allowing their kids to work in the prayer room and ihopu. It's not a safe environment for that as it stands. And Anyone who knows anything about ihopkc and the prayer movement since its conception knows that the AG are the folks who helped keep that place running for years and they want to see it restored to what it was when they started. They are sickened even more than those of us who simply utilized that prayer room for years.

Integrity, yes. Accuracy, unknown. They are extremely emotionally invested and some of the things they are prophesying or teaching could be the same thing they accuse Mike of doing, teaching from emotions instead of the Spirit.

They may well be hiding darker things, beyond just Bickle. I wouldn't be surprised if something really sinister comes out into the open eventually. Who knows what some of them might be up to? Criminal activity? But if they don't deal with it, then God may well allow it to come right out into the open. One thing I do know is that the Church is in dire need of something from God. As a woman who has experienced low level inappropriate behaviour by an elder, then years later by a senior pastor, plus very overly authoritarian abuse, I'm very cautious now. As a single woman I can't afford to let anything like that happen again. And I won't. Some of us are very isolated, but this is far preferable to such things. Sometimes I feel safer outside the Church than in it. The grace and power of God keeps me, somehow.

Yeah,, Fuller boxed himself in. He called the builders of IHOP and the guys who were closest to Bickle liars and with a tone of finality said he would not allow AN AGREED UPON third party investigation to take place. He set fire to potential relational trust and closed the door to a way forward. It actually demonstrated what the advocate group described in their living room videos.

Side note (but serious question:) Why do generals in the military get to carry their military title into other areas of their lives? If someone had been a police captain, does the whole church refer to them as “CAPTAIN Jones?” If someone had been the president of some big company, does the whole church call them “PRESIDENT Smith?” Why do you get to use a title that isn’t in any way relevant to the group you’re in? I’m not trying to be snarky. I just want to know how we decide who we honor for their previous roles and who we treat according to their current relationship to us.

Part of the issue with this whole ministry (and others out there) is the belief in the “seven mountain mandate”. When you believe in “forerunner” theology, “bridegroom” theology, and dominion theology, you need “kingdom finances” to make all this happen. If you let IHOP KC go under, they lose all these “kingdom finances” and the “sphere of influence” that has been built. People HAVE to understand the motivations behind this movement to understand the decisions that are being made now. Many people don’t have a good understanding of the theologies that drives IHOP KC. These theologies are based on prophesies from men who we now know we’re living in deep chronic sin and who are false prophets. They were never based on Scripture.

How do we know Mike Bickle actually really believed anything he actually said? How do we know if he was a true Christian? How do we know any of his dreams visions or prophesies weren't just a figment of his imagination? How do we know he wasn't duping people from the very beginning of the whole thing since he came into the limelight? I find that the charismatic/Pentecostal community to be very supportive of anyone who claims supernatural experiences just because they claim they did. I was the same when I was in that community because I just believed everything I was told because I wanted to believe these experiences to be true. We assume that Mike Bickle was anointed by God because he was good at rhetoric which we now know to be very manipulative person. I've got a feeling he never actually believed any of it to begin with. I think he may have been a charlatan from the outset. He's in very good company ie. Frank Sanford, John Alexander Dowie, Charles Parham, John G Lake, Jim Jones, William Branham all we're supposedly "anointed" to begin with but went off the rails at the end. But with only very minor investigative skills you can easily find out that all these supposedly "anointed" generals were crooks from the outset. Their supposed ministry experiences were just myths and tales that the charismatic community wanted to believe to be true. I was one of them too. Only Marjoe Gortner turned out to be the most truthful by agreeing to a documentary and actually showing the world that he didn't really believe any of it. It was all just fake do he could get paid. Charismatics loved and believed him too.

You are correct! Many of us have known the advocate group for many years and have know idea of who Fuller is. I'm on staff , have been involved from the beginning. Not sure what I'm going to do (seeking God) I'm 61yrs. Old and a widow so don't know where to go from here. Praying for the true fathers and mothers to step up and help take care of the broken hearted here at IHOP .

IHOPKC was founded on YWAM principles at is foundation in the 80s. Even YWAM may shrink into irrelevance after its exposed the very dubious shake foundations they are built on through Loren Cunningham. It's very interesting that this all broke 3 weeks after Loren passed away.

God seems to be allowing it to fall apart. He isn’t even granting repentance. He seems to be exposing the false spirit behind it. It's very clear Mike is not the godly person he claimed to be. Thanks for clarifying what he meant by saying that they were liars. I can see that, but if that's what he meant, he is far from correct. I watched all of those videos by the Advocate Group, and they were sincere and longing for truth and a healthy church discipline process instead of the cover up that seems to be coming from Mike Bickle and the ELT.

Remember Eric Volz talks about the importance of precise words. Here is the definition in question: A documentary is a non-fictional motion picture intended to "document reality, primarily for instruction, education or maintaining a historical record". The videos filmed on Dec 20 were not a documentary. The AG team again told the truth per the guidelines setup by IHOPKC regarding communication.

It was scummy, though, secretly taping and releasing videos behind IHOP's back then not telling them because by their definition not a full documentary. That was not a good look for the AG as Fuller's response was not for IHOP. Plenty of problems on both sides.

Absolutely heartbroken over the state of the ministry, but also want to acknowledge Ihop leadership has also done things right before. I lived there with my wife and kids for over three years and both did internships during that time. Our marriage got very rocky almost led to divorce. If not for the leadership of Ihop, Matt Candler, Caleb Edwards. Lenny Lagarde. I’m not sure we would be married now, it is our 16th year of marriage. We just had our third child

You should realize that IHOPKC is doing the "bad cop -- good cop" routine. Army Major General William Kurt Fuller is the "bad cop", and Dr. Michael T. Brown, PhD is the "good cop", supporting IHOPKC while sprouting some soothing comments about the advocacy group. Also please note that one of the things Dr. Michael T. Brown, PhD has done is certify the latest "investigation" as being absolutely independent. . . . .

Yet Dr. T Browne 1st message was in support of MB and his board followed by Strange, Goll tossing out positive character of MB and insinuating alternative victims and men who were ground up leaders their motives “ takeover” . and let’s not forget spiritual attacks . Hold this army of men / women apostle-prophets accountable to their biased words, using the Name of the Lord.

Why would any Christian, especially publicly, with so much visibility, call other Christian men liars without going to them and asking for clarification? That is not the mark of a Christian, and certainly not a leader in the body of Christ. Not to mention it's stupid. Seems like he just wanted an excuse to follow his predetermined path with a biased investigation.

In a Dean Briggs interview on why he resigned in the last day, he revealed that Mike Bickle’s son went after another mans wife and caused a divorce. Dean found out later she was a Jane Doe. Not the main one. Whover he is married to now is /was a Jane Doe.

I appreciate everything you’re doing, but please stop referring to Mike Bickle as “fathering”anybody. It is such a disturbing term. The only father we have besides our literal earthly Dad is our Father in heaven. That is a commandment in Matthew 23:9 do not call anyone father but Almighty God. That is a true sign of a cult! These people worshiped Mike Bickle, like he was God!
