I love it!!! I love how the kids are there and they come and go. It’s fun to watch you two interact with each other and horse around. All this “extra” activity made the whole thing feel like I was sitting with you in your living room (as I was in mine) watching/interacting/laughing with you. It was so authentic and genuine. In this world of edited sound bites, edited videos with polish and recordings with perfected written statements, this type of “real” interaction is refreshing.

I have prayed for you since finding your podcast at the start of the Ihop reveal. Your dedication to truth is what caught my attention, and so have prayed much for your safety. I am an 84 year old minister whose granddaughter took me to Ihop a couple times years ago, and had watched several times. Just days before the "story" broke, the Spirit heightened my attention while listening to Mike "teach". I thought very strongly something was not right with him, then within days, heard the "Leadership" make their initial announcement. Wow. May you be blessed as you unpack how the Lord has led you.

Reminds me of Lev 10:1 which didn’t end well. This is so tough to go through for all those who are trying to still purely offer prayer for the nations at IHOP KC. Yet, this is a cleansing of the movement, which is needed. Think of how amazing 24/7 prayer will be once the house is cleansed.

Also, thank you for sharing the note from Lou Engle. I hadn't heard about that. The absence of voices from the leaders of the church at large is stunning to me. Very disturbing. Although so many pastors wives I’ve known whose husbands had affairs were totally naive idiots. They bathed in the luxury of the church’s efforts to pay for their fancy homes and vacations. I just wish a few of these women had to work regular jobs and punch a clock like we do and see the real world outside the church. It’s crazy they don’t want their women to work yet many have had to struggle during this time of inflation and guilted into giving to the church and their trips and luxury way of life!!! I feel no sorrow for these women at all

First I want to say thank you both for moving in the weight and capacity that the Lord has given you to be trumpets of justice! I’ve been watching y’all for a few weeks now, I’m not much of a commentator but I am following your podcast consistently. My son and I were first introduced to the IHOPKC community back in 2007 by one of my best friends who had done fire in the night in 2007 and then went back to finish schooling. My first introduction to the prophetic was through this ministry. Finally in 2016 my daughter and I were able to go to our first one thing conference and then followed every year after. My son had a radical encounter with the Lord when he was 19 and the Lord called him to fire the night as well. He went on after to do a stretch at what is formally known as ACTS in Colorado under Brian Kim and the and Lou Engle! I said all that to say when I first heard this news, it broke my heart. I’ve had to have deep conversations with the Lord about this, and He has spoken to me so tenderly about it. What has been done here is devastating and clear, misconduct and abuse by a prominent spiritual leader in the body of Christ that must be dealt with. Coincidentally the day I heard the news Dean Briggs was preaching at my church out here in Texas the same day. Thank you for all your doing. I truly appreciate you. Keep moving Jehus! God is with you!

I wish we had full exposure truth and transparency for my old church that I had to leave due to inappropriate behavior from the Senior Pastor who still isn’t fully repentant and hasn’t made a dent into making amends to those he hurt. Like Mike, these leaders keep up their lies and why people still follow them is called insanity & the congregation too are victims blindly following corrupt leaders like in our politics. 1. You were saying that Mike Bickel claimed she touched him but he didn’t touch her. What does he call full on kissing in Paris? That’s him majorly touching her! Jane Doe also said a time they were together in a hotel in Dallas was worse than what happened in Paris. And Paris was bad. Can’t imagine Dallas. 2. Mike says the Jane Does got mixed up when he told them Diane was going to die young then he’d marry them. He says he didn’t say that. BUT in the Roys Report Jane Does testimony says that she was in a car with him and they drove past a certain house and Mike said something like that this was the house he would buy when they got married. He said the front of the house was not good or big enough for guests but he’d build out the back yard for more room. So yes, I believe Jane Doe when she said he told her Diane would die then they’d get married. Mike is not telling the truth. Why would several different Jane Does, who didn’t know about each other say the same thing, that he said those words to them many times? What are the odds of several women all mistaking the same thing? No. Mike is not telling the truth.

I’ve definitely seen that before. I don’t know Misty at all but generally I know people find it much easier to believe that a whole bunch of people are conspiring and lying about someone than to believe that a hero they trusted is actually a predator. :-(

@vickygauthier5114 it’s very possible Misty is telling the truth and nothing happened between her and Mike. Misty was a public person in the church. The ones Mike was with he secluded away and made them give up their friends in order to keep it quiet. That couldn’t be done with Misty. She was out in front of everyone with her ministry.

A big thing I picked up with the interview with Allen Hood was referring to Mike as their “spiritual Father” and that in itself is so unbiblical. “Call no one your Father except your Father in heaven “ This place that we’ve put people higher than trinity has been the problem from the beginning. This needs to be addressed.

with all due respect f** their prophetic history. The only history i need to know is in the Old testament and New testament. The church seriously lacks discernment. Some of the leaders in AG (God bless them for trying to do the right thing), but you're telling me you served under Mike Bickle for many years even decades and you're telling me you couldn't discern that this guy was a phony? And they are supposed to be the leaders? God says my people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. People need to stop reading Mike Bickle books and start reading the bible, and humble themselves instead thinking they're some super mature christians because humility is where wisdom starts.

Discernment was the essence of the word that was given to me to share at a Bible study on Tuesday night (because discernment is lacking). I have seen an enemy approaching but have only been at my new fellowship for a few months. We are studying Proverbs and were in Chapter 15 - verse 33 stood out and I cross referenced it with James 3.13. This was after previously asking God to help me with the wisdom I lack regarding what to do regarding the discernment He's given me. Pursuing love and therefore not separating humility from wisdom (the two, if from above, are inseparable) is the answer. In the past I've taken a swinging sword approach (Bentley in 2008) and had to leave the fellowship. I was the only voice, completely outnumbered, preached against by the pastor. I could have dealt with it better. IHOP, Toronto, Bob Jones are all (I've discovered) in some way influencing present day decisions from leadership. They've just invited John Arnott's daughter to speak to the women. My heart sank. I checked her out and she's bang into that Sozo Bill Johnson nonsense. I was able to speak clearly and boldly to my group two nights ago that we ALL must plead with Jesus for discernment, that we will be able to tell true from false. To not do so would be unwise. The lack of discernment in the church is shocking; especially from those who appear to be Biblically knowledgeable. Mike Bickle appears to be such a person and has bamboozled many, irrespective of any sexual sin.

@@godsstruggler8783 its a simple thing. Jesus says you know them by their fruit. When a fruit is being squeezed all the insides come out. Likewise, the IHOP leadership is being squeezed and what's on the inside is coming out. You will know them by their fruit

Not letting go when the Holy Spirit directs us to go, and doing it later is delayed obedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience. What if Joseph didn't listen to his dream to take Jesus to Egypt? What if he waited and did it in his own time?

In my experience dealing with the defenders, the conversations go like this: Me: Bickle & thousands of other celebrity leaders were predators. That's wrong. This must change. We need reform. Them: How can you make such horrible accusations! Where's the proof? Me: provides screeds of evidence & resources Them: That's too Long! Didn't Read! Why can't you just say it on one simple sentence! ... on endless repeat.

(Re: Malachi) - enablers/defenders. Unfortunately my experience is that sometimes, these predator defenders have a personal stake, or secret they desperately need kept. Not saying that about Malachi at all. Don’t see anything that points that way about him in anything he’s said. But just that it really does happen- shocked me to bits when I found this out. Chagrined: embarrassed and ashamed.😁

This whole thing is just exposing the greater prophetic clicky club" that was nurtured and encouraged on a bigger scale. Which is one of the reasons why I walked away from all of that in the first place. People that follow that man or did follow him tended to be very clicky and Clubby and," if you're not in the club of prophetic movement then youre not in the now. " Definitely I think there needs to be some sort of purging of all of this of people who were in that club environment for so long because I can sense it way from across the United states. The Ripple effects are going to last a while in fact I think a lot of Western Christianity is guilty of a club environment and that's why a lot of people who don't read the Bible and don't go to church, feel really left out and have a little bit of a not good view of God. This kind of movement fostered that type of feeling completely.

I don’t know why people would leave the church or faith because of this church and their “activities”. I am a worship leader at a church in Phoenix and have always told people that Christianity is Judaism 2.0. Lots of modern day pharisees, and Jesus warned about this more than anything else in the New Testament. He also said, “do everything they tell you to do, just don’t do what they do” amen

This is completely ridiculous. All the leaders who knew he took a group of young women to Paris are accountable. Everyone who knew MB had sleepover/movie nights alone with a bunch of young women in their paid for apartment should know better. Should have talked about it way back when. wth wth wth A lot of people knew. His wife must have known. This is completely ridiculous. Just the mis-use of ministry funds alone! Let alone the young women factor. Individual hotel rooms in Paris? For what??? Was he a youth pastor? Why didn't he then have another adult with him? Oh, AND they were secretly studying mystical. bride, romantic teaching stuff? wth wth wth This is more than MB alone. How was everyone around him blind and deaf and dumb? How is it ok to buy apartments for young women...? wth!!!
