Thank you for this video! Also note that in preferences, the sequencer record arm must be set to multi.

The setting wasn’t set to multi in this video and it work. If you press shift and then the record arm button you can arm multiple tracks without setting it to multi.

Really can't wait for this update there is a reason we gotta wait. Why because MPC key 61 drops the same day as this update the 23rd of June. And uses the same firmware.

great vid. is it possible to play a synth on your midi keyboard while playing a drum kit on the pads of the mpc?

Is there a way to disable the sustain pedal in a single split or layer channel,while keeping it on others? Say you have a split in the left hand with a bass sound and on the right you have a layer, how would you disable the sustain pedal on the bass while keeping it on the other layers?

is there a way to layer pads and keys? External midi controller and internal pads playing different programs at the same time? Also using program change to select sound whilst playing back

splits are great but is there a way to shift root notes for a given split? (kind of defeats the purpose of creating multiple plugin zones if you're also stuck playing them in the register of a given zone)

So far I've discovered the way to do this is go to the Main Mode screen, select the track you want to shift, and then set Transpose for that track. I think you can transpose at most two octaves (24 notes) up or down.
