I've learned to move in silence because in silence I moved mountains with what I had. Everytime I told ppl my plans then the doubt and fear would take over. Ppl always say you need money you need this when all we need is the passion, the faith, and God's given talents and gifts he's given to us. Back when you were in college, I was suffering in a corporate office. I used to cry because I couldn't find anyone who really understood what I was going through and I swear before I even knew who you were, I prayed for you. I wished for someone who understood the kind of pain I was experiencing. I cried tears of joy when I found the song you uploaded about not being behind in life and felt so much better. I honestly cannot thank you enough for putting yourself out there and sharing the most authentic parts of your soul with us. By you healing yourself you help us all heal as well. Amazing. This reminds me, I think the biggest thing holding people back is the fear of simply **looking** crazy to other people. Thats partly why we overly-analyze our path because we don't want people to call us silly or crazy. We place so much of our worth on how others perceive us & how others validate us. But I've learned what trumps external validation is confidence in your divine mission & accepting that its impossible to satisfy everybody in that mission. Even Jesus & Shakyamuni Buddha were hated and threatened. I've accepted that I'll look crazy to many people & people will not like me (especially in an anti-black world where so many people just hate us for existing anyway), and that's fine, because their opinions aren't what are keeping my heart breathing. MY spirit is keeping me breathing. And those opinions won't be there to save my soul from all the regrets I'd have on my deathbed (like "I wish I would've done this/that..") Those opinions will be nowhere to save your soul, so for that reason, they're not worth the worry. Stand strong in your mission. Never lose yourself to this temporary world; chasing an illusion thats bound to crumble will ultimately do your soul no good in the end. Chase what liberates your soul for all time.

Firstly, I want to say thank you for making this video and this channel. It is exactly what I needed in this moment as I’m turning 25 in a couple of weeks but if I’m being honest, every birthday feels like a midlife crisis. Every year I am between being stuck and unstuck. I want to break into the fashion industry so badly. Sometimes I feel like it’s too late because I made this decision when the pandemic started. I thought the best way was possibly going on social media and trying to post, but then I just started to hate myself and how I looked. There was a lot of other things that were barriers in my life between 2020 and now, but now I’m just trying to figure out how to get started in the industry and to get some experience under my belt. I live near Detroit, Michigan and I don’t want to move into a huge city yet because of how expensive it is - so that’s another struggle. Sometimes, I feel like a disappointment roller coaster.

I like this channel. Feels like a little pep talk each video. I'm scared of life. I want to move, live in another state, but I fear things not working out, and me having to come back to my home state. I can envision myself having a business, but I'm afraid of failing and do not have the people skills. (I went to one Toastmasters meeting but didn't continue). Trying to figure out life. I hate going to work, coming home and having no energy to do anything but scroll and listen to youtube videos.

I then opted to level myself up...& sat for the NATIONAL BOARD EXAM in my field. Pretty much everyone I've told since then about my credential ...responds by TEARING ME DOWN HARDER & TREATING ME LIKE I'M DELUSIONALLY PUTTING UP A FRONT. 🙄 Like, what more do I have to do ??

Thank you for this video. I watched it this evening in a low moment. I needed hope and someone to speak care and truth over me. What my next step is this. I have several people who I need to let go and release from my life but I'm mentally struggling to let them go even though they dont treat me well. Why do I keep holding on? Bc deep inside I'm worried maybe this is better than nothing. I'm not allowing my heart to open to the possibility that God would want people who care and understand me in my life. I need to release these people who are hurting me so I can make room and space for new people to enter. I'm a deeply caring person but I keep holding onto people who dont give me the same level of care. I want to be done with that. Like you said, it's about getting free.
