alienware 15 r3 non working status after bios update install downloaded directly from dell’s website, bioa updatw file was suggested by dell as urgent whwn uaing our aervice tag for upgrades
dell lost a customer

I performed the bios update on my m17r5 that was just released on 10/08/2023 and it completed the update in like 2 minutes and restarted but now my laptop will not start, the screen stays black and the power button flashes 3 red and 6 blue, I don't know what I can do because I'm on a trip overseas atm and I really need it right now.

try to reset bios through the pins that the motherboard has, I think that in your model they will be below the ram memory

What version of bios you were installing?

can't remember, the one that DEll's website told us was URGENT, btw we used the service tag to search for the drivers and that is when they URGED us to do the update, LOL we ended up buying another one (exact same model), so we extracted the bios from that chip, and uploaded to the broken computer's chip, ended up working fine, we sold it right after that, would never want to be close to one of those things, they tend to auto destruct, LOL

Even my Alienware 15 R3 is same . I think using Alienware is major issues. After major update my pc is dead .

ive heard for a long time after alienwares get so many years old dell purposely releases updates to brick them to force you into buying a new pc lol

you need to somehow get a bios dump file for your specific computer model, and flash it to the bios chip while having it plugged in using a sic eprom programmer, cheap on amazon/ebay about 5 bucks + a huge amount of time and some stress, good luck

@@Sunchanel207 à ông đừng hoảng, tui đọc lại user manual thì tuỳ loại nhấp nháy mà nó có lỗi khác nhau, như tui là bị chết 1 con ram . thay ram là dc, ông google cách led nó nhấp nháy kiểu 3 cam 1 xanh hay 3 đỏ 1 xanh nhịp nó ntn nghen

@@Sunchanel207 thì dễ hiểu rồi, cây Ram hoặc một linh kiện nào đó bên trong lúc sống lúc chết đó, ông nên đi kiểm tra lại cho kỹ để tránh ngắn mạch
